So here is what I have so far, please look over it and tell me what you think. Smiley

     PROJECT INFINITE

The proposal is very simple, we aim to offer an online savings trust which will offer various percentage rates depending on the length of time you wish to save. The interest will be paid via donations that are secured into a pot. We will only offer interest when there are sufficiant funds!

There will be various percentage rates.
The interest is provided by people with an interest in seeing infinitecoin succeed.
There will be no loans and no involvement of fiat currency so should be able to opperate in any country currently.
Interest will be displayed via a real time ticker.
The website will be funded via advertising for crypto related products.
Various ways to save.

The main idea here is to encourage people to save and also to distribute wealth as well as promoting a coin that we feel is really great. We will accomplish this in a few different ways, lets take the points above and explain each one a little more.

There will be various percentage rates.

The rates offered will look like this.
10 days = 1%
20 days = 2%
30 days = 2.5%
60 days = 3%
120 days =5%

The interest is provided by people with an interest in seeing infinitecoin succeed.

This is arguably the most interesting part, unlike other banks that favour the 1%, with this bank, the 1% will be the ones that provide the interest! Distributing some of their wealth to the masses.

We can not make coins out of thin air like other banks, so as soon as the pool has run dry we could no longer offer the service until the pool is replenished, there are several ways this can happen. There can be further donations or coins can be purchased via revenue made by the avertising. So in essence this will be a non profit organisation.

So far the pot for infinite coins stands at 520,000,000! This will reward a lot of savers!

There will be no loans and no involvement of fiat currency so should be able to opperate in any country currently.

There should be no issues of infringements of any laws in any countries. But never the less there are plenty of options for hosting. Germany for example has declared that crytocurrencies are exempt from taxation.

Interest will be displayed via a real time ticker.

My personal favourite. Who doesn't like a real time ticker? There is something hypnotic and soothing about watching those numbers flying round. Imagine how great it will be to watch your money growing in real time!

The website will be funded via advertising for crypto related products.

As mentioned previously we will have advertising but only for crypto related products or services, ensuring the further promotion of this great new crypto wonderland! All the proceeds will go to purchasing IFC's in order to offer further interest to more savers and to fund the running costs of the website. Purchasing the IFC's will also create demand!

Various ways to save.

We want you to have as much control over your money as possible, this is why we are trying to impliment 3 possible ways that your funds can be 'deposited'...
Option 1: You send us your coins and we hold onto them in an offline wallet for greater protection.

Option2: You store your coins inside your own wallet, the wallet is then monitored via the blockchain to ensure they stay there for the chosen time period.

Option 3: We will send you an encrypted wallet, you then simply sync the wallet and deposit the chosen amount and we will give you the encryption key when the time period is up.

These are subject to change depending on what is possible to do. If we can pull this one off it could be the begininng of true decentralized banking!

Conclusion

This is a great solution for online saving in the crypto realm and is only a first step in what I think is the right direction. There is a lot of work to be done but we aim to have this up and running as soon as possible!

If things go well, we could eventually open this up for whichever coin demanded it.

i think -because of trust level- option 2 will be the best way...

Yes if this one is possible it will be the best one no doubt, but others may see security in having it held in an offline wallet. Obviously in time when trust is built. Ultimately we want to offer choice anyway. Smiley

Smart people will use this instead of your bank. WTG Slush and friends. --> http://www.bitcointrezor.com/?ref=pool

Those same people will also realize that you think its ok to sell votes for cheap favors. Wink

Thanks bud, great promotion!

Edit, have given you your trust feedback (first person I ever did that for)...

Selling trust ratings for  a few pennies of IFC is not cool.

Happy to have some coins and check out his website but I won't be helping set him up with cheap false trust for scams.
yes trust is for 2 way transactions not one way transactions

Then why exactly did it let me do it? Go talk to the site admin, not me! There is a comment section, nowhere on my trust rating did I say I put up any money! But the guy promised to send the coins and came through! Jesus christ! People can always READ the comments in the trust section and see what exactly happened, okay bud??? Next time I choose to do something, should I run it by you all first? LMAO
i was speaking to the OP, you are obviously free to give trust to whomever you wish

Well that is awful funny because you seem to commenting regarding mine and the other chaps comments as shown by the little sub thread above... But hey so glad to have your blessing there even if it contradicts your original comment. Lol

You should read ELiOt's comments again as both are valid.

Selling merit points IS SKETCHY (especially when done under the false pretences of a give-away) and those that choose to vote for the OP are free to do so.

Those that do sell or fake votes should be aware that this will cast them under a similar light.

This also a huge dis-service to Bitcointalk and their efforts to provide us with a viable rating system.

HT xD

Once and for all and this is the last thing I will say about it: I was NOT selling trust points or doing something remotely sketchy, and I feel terrible if things came out that way. Everybody is free to use his or her favorite block explorer and verify that I indeed did give away 47 million IFC as promised. My intention with this thread was to broaden the number of IFC users, and I feel those goals were met. If a receiver wishes to thank me by using the trust point system, it is completely his or her call. Peace out.

You did nothing wrong mate some people are far too up there own arse to be honest! You did a good thing and I appreciated that hence the trust rating. I saw your good intentions and if others couldn't that is their problem not yours or mine. Again thank you for the great promotion.

HT xD

Awefully strange aren't you? What exactly is your problem?

If people would like to use the service you suggest that is fantastic. The world is full of choices. Isn't it great? Smiley So you continue to spread your BS about "vote selling" too? Well you crack on there, it's hilarious that you think it bothers me. Smiley

Price and buy support are looking really nice for IFC today! And btw I am still open to suggestions regarding project infinite. I could really do with some more input. I would also like opinions on the legality side of things.

Cheers guys.

added to the OP, thanks.

Is there an issue with mining at the moment? I have been solo mining and then I noticed a bit of a long gap, so I restarted my miner and still nothing... Then I noticed that my w/u was at zero... I am guessing there is a connection issue going on?

I hopped on the pool any way and it is hashing away no problem.

Any ideas?

Hashrate doubles due to the increasing interest in infinitecoin. Wait until we can get my idea off the ground! Smiley
