It is up to you to invest in it or not but for me it is a good investment to invest into ICO since they give nice returns whenever one succeeds. It is a high risk high reward like system with lesser the risk if one research properly before investing into one. I suggest OP to invest only small amounts of money that you are ready to lose, not all ICO is guaranteed to give returns.

early, and I am experiencing it. I agree with you to be more careful again in investing in ICO.
and I suggest it might be better to hold bitcoin up to 2-3 years ahead of course this is a lucrative investment and I think is quite safe.

Those who hold btc this January already earned now multiple of their investments, if were too scared to risk on Ico our money, then holding will be fine. But risking in ico especially those have potential can give more benefits on us so try sometimes.

I suggest you do your own research in deciding if an ICO is a good investment or not. A lot of people here will tell you not to because there have been a lot of scammy ICOs. However you have to do research into the product(if they have one), the team, and their roadmap to see where the project is headed.

To be honest ICO's are the best investment as far as I know because as what I have observed it offers high returns but also has high level of risk. ICO's are the most preferred trap by scammers arround the world due to the possibility to collect billions of dollars from their intended victims worldwide. It is like a trojan horse attack that at the first glance is a good and promising one but as days have past it turns out to be like hell for those who had invested. In my case, I can only afford to lose my time not my money because life is so hard here in my country and I am a less fortunate one so I need to be careful in choosing the right one. Research and resourcefulness are the best weapons we can use against these lawless elements in this  cryptocurrency world in terms of investments scam.

To be fair, do you know how many ICO companies disappeared after issueing ?  ICO is just too easy, too cheap, most white papier cost only 2000 bucks to make, their are promoters get a cut, leave a lot of victims behind.

I think investing in ICO is the most profitable way to invest in any project as you get certain tokens as bonuses but it's still the most risky way to invest as most of the ICOs out there are scams and nothing more. Finding a legit project with a very innovative and unique idea is very difficult. Always look for projects with a strong team as team is a very important factor which decides fate of any projects.

ICO's can be a great investment, however very few will be. Many people invest just because it's an ICO or it has hype. Those people stand to lose alot of their money. Look at all the hyped ICO's of the last few months, most are trading below ICO price.
