Meaning, before investing anything on any ico, do some research about the project and the people behind it and make sure that the ico you are investing in is not a scam or else, you will definitely lose your investment. Many ICOs projects out there, you must know about the analysis fundamental of ICOs before making investment into the ICOs, you must read whitepaper of ICOs, learning the kinds of business related with the ICOs projects.
You must search more information about the ICOs not one of source include listen the opinions from another users about the projects, it will takes many of time and energy, but there are no choice if you want make investment in the ICOs.

Do you think with ICO's being such a new technology/tool that there isn't much historical data to draw upon when deciding upon whether to invest - i.e. the analysis fundamentals that worked a few months ago may not be as effective now as it was back then - do you think that is possible? But what else can you really do, research is very important and probably the only possible way to improve your odds in being part of a successful ICO

What's i mean with there are no choice if you want make investment in the ICOs is must do analysis fundamental of ICOs projects first, before we put the money into it, because it is very high risk to losing the money.

Currently, with the panic time are happening in the cryptocurrency market, I think we do not have any method to know the best ICO in this time while Bitcoin always affect other cryptocurrency and ICO token. Therefore, my choice is keep calm and be patient to wait that time the end or trading Bitcoin/USD

Yep, because the price of bitcoin is rising it will affect to the alternative coins price to be down trend, i think it is good time to investment in the ICOs because they are cheap and sometimes the price of alternative coins and ICOs will goes up again, i am waiting until the activation SegWit2x be done on the bitcoin's network and bitcoin gold be shared to the users and the price of bitcoin will be down and alternative coins goes up, i guess.

ICOs have been on a cold streak due to BTC mooning and outrageous valuation. It's hard to cherry pick the right ICO. Better buy some alt coins now before the hard fork.

If the next scenario will be same the old scenario in August, I think the market really crazy and only Bitcoin is the cryptocurrency can increase the value in the cryptocurrency market. But it's really unreasonable while the whale have invested in ICO and altcoins, hmm...

ICO could be a money spinner. Imagine buying 10,000 unit of a coin for .09 satoshi and immediately it gets to exchange the next week , it starts selling for 3 dollars  .

On the flip side, you can loss every din invested if it was intended to scam investors. So,  researching on the team is very important for me etc. SIC is doing well, though on exchange already.

I think ico is a good investment. but not every ico is nice. You should see the project and learn it first. see details of the team. and must remain cautious because there is still a scam ico. and if you are lucky to get a very good ico then you will get a big advantage. Good luck.
