Well ICO being a good investment or not depends on who is the one investing and which ICO is he/she investing in. One needs to research and know alot about the ICO he's going to invest in. If not, being careless would lead him to suffer from loss. As you may know not all the ICOs are legit. Some people take advantage  of other people and make scams and if one gets fooled by this he'll suffer from loss. So you should be very careful before investing in any ICO and do alot of research and also if possible take alot of other people's opinions.

Appriciate investing in the crypto. Its going to be the crypto slowly conquering the currency market in few years. It would be really good. If you see the ratio of altcoins growth in past years, there is a steady and healthy growth though there are ups and downs. So you can have a trust and invest in ICO. Watch out for the better ICOs.

All crypto currency came from ICO so it depends on an ICO that has good investment and somehow they're working together to advertise their project and to attract good investors. Ethereum and other top Altcoins were came from an ICO that is they're distributing their tokens so that people will use it.

Indeed, it really depends on an ICO that has a good future because not all of them will succeed. Not all ICO is a good investment, Other ICO even if they have a great PLAN,GOAL are never seen in exchanged, This coins are the scam where developer keeps investors busy and hype by giving them updates that doesn't happen and if its already deadline and they didnt able to probide the exchanger for that coin they just run and never reply to their thread again.

getting a good ICO to investing in this days is really difficult as many of them are get dumped after ICO. however there are still some successful ICO with testimony from investors which i have seen here on the forum. so i believe investing in ICO good if you do your research well and participate in big ICO. Utrust is one of them. token are sold out within few days and there are still some few coming ICO which i believe they are very good and profit are guaranty like AION.

I think ICO is a good investment. But we have to be careful in choosing which ICO is the best and the best. There are still some ICO's that scam and harm us. We should study the ICO project before we invest in ICO. Investing in ICO is really something very profitable.

Personally, I have not lost any money with any ICO yet since I invest in very few ICOs which I choose based on a lot of research and my own gut feeling. I have been right most of the time and there is a lot luck involved here too. No one can assure anyone whether investing in any specific ICO would be a good or bad deal. There's no one word answer. Some have made 10X and more returns on ICO. A lot of due diligence is required to research and understand what the company raising funds intends to do with the funds, their roadmap ..
and more research required in guessing if the company will succeed given the current marketplace conditions.

If you don't shy from research, can invest some money that you can afford to lose, and know how to statistically diversify your risks.. ICO could be a good idea. If not NOT..

I agree on the fact that it do somehow need luck for you to be profitable on this field and i can say you are lucky on this ICO investing since you havent still able to commit loss of money which is great since we do know investing on ico can really generate good profits if the project did boom up its price.There are some instances that even if you do make research on a good project, good whitepaper,nice devs but some of them do still end up on failing and thats part of the risk which no matter how good you are these kind of experience wont really be avoided to be experienced.

Some icos can actually be a shit in the pan ,causing you to lose your money. They make you regret on it and thus, making you see every ico as a failure. Some people think it is once fault not to research on the team but then, some icos are failure in disguise.
