     - some people will have no payments this payout  because of hosting refund issues, this will all be resolved in a separate spreadsheet and paid from the address the hosting payment was received at.

Soniq,

when will this payment occur?

Also, are you planning to get back to regular (weekly?) payments when the situation is cleared?

Was there any discussion about selling the Jupiters I am not aware of? I'm not sure paying $15k is the best option. If you are looking for a buyer, why not look for a buyer in Sweden?

I believe some one has all this info on soniq Huh  some one PM me last week and said he has soniq's INFO Huh

Also i believe we need to vote (share holders) and make another thread on the Terraminer GBs, and see if we can come to an agreement weather we need to take some legal actions against soniq or come to an agreement with soniq.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Soniq! Many of US have invested quite a bit of BTC $$$ with YOU and I am going to start comparing your GBs to Butterfly Labs!

We need to come to some sort of agreement with you.

OK, i just PM John to see if we can get some info, here the PM i sent.

Hi John,

I am Part of a couple GBs with soniq and i believe you have confirmed who he is and were exactly he lives??? We are have a bit of trouble (share holders) getting info concerning payments and the where about's on some of the miners.  Please if you can shed some light on the matter it will be much appreciated.

Here are threads regarding missing BTC and miners.

      - have decided to waive any hosting penalties

Am keeping a buffer of Bitcoins  to allow for shipping costs of Jupiters to me  unless I can resolve something with KNC to arrange shipping of Jupiter  directly to buyers. If that happens I can payout the buffer as well.

Hosting is paid till end of April.

How many months and how many dollars you have paid for hosting?. 366$ ??.
It is impossible for me to pay more for hosting than mining wins.

366$ > 6 shares = 70$/month = 0.112 btc

Last payment was 31-Jan and I am well short of my original investment. Is there any chance in hell to get my original investment back? Why would you ship the gear from Sweden to Canada when it didn't even pay for itself? Sell the gear back and split the amongst the group or get some one to buy it. This GB was a disaster, what are you going to do with the Jupiters? Bury it in the frozen tundra like our original investment? This is maddening!  Angry

Checking the books is a good thing, but it could mean we get our next dividend after 2-3 or more months based on Soniq availability till now...
If I was right about the 2-3 months back then it should be during the next 20 days. I could be too optimistic about this, so this time my prediction is anytime between now and never, however I really prefer it now!

Have tried clarifying a shipping process for Jupiters at end of April (hosting contract expires)  with KnC. No official response from KnC yet.

Finalizing some last details on NMC and will be sending soon.

Will be on the forum on a more regular basis going forward as well.

In the group's interest...

I'm not trying to undermine Larry, but rather just trying to be fair.  If I went along with this, I wouldn't sleep right at night so here I am.

Larry adamantly doesn't want to convert the NMC to BTC.  He wants to payout directly in NMC.  Converting to BTC makes the process about 99% easier.  Not only will we not have to keep track of the past payouts and keep a ledger like we do with BTC, we will ensure everyone gets paid out their share.  Larry refuses to solicit a vote on this and is using an executive decision to payout NMC directly even though most people haven't linked their addresses.   I do understand that a formal vote would take a while to complete.

I haven't done any real analysis on this but it looks like 32 users have linked their addresses and there are way more than 32 shareholders in this group.  There's probably around 125 members in the group.  So maybe 25% of the group has linked their NMC to their BTC address. This concerns me greatly.

Here's the list: http://bitcoinfun.ca/nmcsign/viewlist.html

We can look at that as a vote and assume only ~25% (more or less) want to be paid out directly in NMC. You can argue that we could payout that subset of memberes their share in NMC and convert the rest and pay those out in BTC... but that this becomes unnecessarily complicated and I don't want to spend the time discovering and working out the kinks.  If we payout in NMC to the subset of members, who gets the rest of the NMC?  Do we incorrectly split the entire amount among the people who supplied their NMC addresses?

I say we should convert them to BTC and add them to the mining income address and payout as a BTC dividend.  This covers all the bases.  There's a fee to do this at an exchange, but it's minimal especially when spread out across the entire group.

An example if we did it right now...
Amount NMC: 3671.53861891
Price per NMC: 0.00479 BTC
Total: 17.58667 BTC
Fee:   0.0352 BTC

Converting to BTC does have risk like what if NMC doubles tomorrow compared to BTC?  Well, at least everyone got their payout today. No one can predict the future.

Larry's point was getting flak about exactly when to convert.  In other words, he doesn't want to be responsible if he picked the wrong time to convert BTC to NMC.  I think it's pointless to worry about this at this point in the game. You could argue that we should have been paying out NMC all along... but if we had, less than 25% of the group would have registered their NMC addy.

Thoughts?

I prefer the namecoins, because they are usable. Here are my reasons:
-Namecoins security is almost the same as the bitcoin - they are mined by the same miners and the namecoins network difficulty is almost the same as the bitcoins difficulty.
-There are less then 21 million of them to be in circulation ever and they are as hard to mine as bitcoins, but currently less expensive (0.0048 NMC/BTC)
-You can use them to register a decentralized .bit domain
-In future you could use them to register decentralized email or for decentralized voting
-They are used as decentralized torrent tracker via magnet links

You'll tell me I could buy namecoins from the bitcoin payments, but from all the namecoins mined till now in this GB I'll get about 0.003 bitcoins and the fees are about the same, so for those bitcoins I can't buy any namecoins and otherwise I'll get about 0.75 namecoins, which I could use to register 75 .bit domains now if i want or just keep them.

Keep in mind that i own less then 0.02% of this GB, so my vote could be neglected.

2^ It seems there is a trigger in the code to not send payments before a threshold. It's 0.01 i suppose. I didn't received anything from Mar 21 2014 transaction too.
