Firstly i don't think of this currency as a coin per say. Much noise came from "bitcoin" that led to all "coin". This currency borrows a lot of ideas and implements new ones in a way i hope will change how people view cryptos and maybe it will stand alone without dependency on bitcoin.
The name is one that was discussed in a post a while ago when we started developing it, i chose noir due to the seemingly unending abyss which is the internet. Bits came off the idea that you are getting a small share of something. There are many interpretations that exist and that may come into existence later, but the main focus is the advancement of cryptos.
If i manage to develop a way of merged mining for scrypt based coins, rather than selling off the code, i'll use it to raise this coin and it's branches higher. I'm looking for world wide everyday usage, what bitcoin originally intended....not pump and dump. This coin will outshine bitcoin due to it's faster times, more flexible algorithm and because unlike satoshi, i'll be here all the way.

One of the first signs of successful coding is that no hard fork required until doing major upgrade. And a real hard fork is not announced and force implemented in two hours. I had a discussion with a chinese usb manufacturer a while ago. I want to speak with him to begin production of a limited amount of disks that contain Linux preinstalled with all dependencies built specifically with Noirbits, cgminer and all drivers installing via script at first run. I though of compiling best settings of all graphics card and writing the script that will auto tune clock and mem settings but realised that may cause stability issues on some rigs.

That would be awesome.

the hash rate rises properly and stabilizes at above 50mh~100mh, i can start testing merged mining. i need difficulty for this chain to go high enough that it can pass shares to another chain. get to mining people andwe can have the first merged mined scrypt crypto.

Proud to announce this coin is being considered @cryptsy. The difficulty is failing to reach 5 for our attempt at merge, we'll wait. In the mean time i'd like to ask, besides LTC what other scrypt coin would you like to merge mine? we ask so that we can set up a pool and test with one of the existing scrypts that has high difficulty at the moment, if we can prove functionality, we may be able to incorporate different coins to merge mine.

Just LTC would be good, if you can get it working. I'm solo mining with 2.1 MH, so hopefully some more people will join in to get it to your target difficulty.

CHN is having a high diff by the way, this premined thing is still alive? You can look up the mined coins in the debug, no premine.

Interesting. But how are you going to merge mine from LTC when your block rate is different? Anyway, would be intersted in merge mining ZTC.

i'm only getting my feet wet, but block times are irrelevant in the beginning. The first issue to get right is the passing and acceptance of hashes
