There's nothing wrong with sharing tips and information on what you know about sports betting. There are sports analyst out there who provides great analysis on who has the edge on winning by looking at history like in Basketball or Boxing like in ESPN and that can be considered as a tip but actually they are just sharing or telling the whole world that this team or fighter is better than the other. It would really just depend on ourselves if we do decide to follow or not and i agree that most of them do give only average results to the tips they have given specially on random user on this forum but yet there are still some members who do have much better picks and winnings ratio and i do usually follow this kind of tipster rather than on trying out randomly since i cant afford to lose up money into unsure bets.

I think giving the tips is the individual choice and out of happiness if one gives it is totally fine. Say you went to casinos and right in the start or in the game you won some decent amount and might be you may consider himself lucky or so as a good gesture one may give it or here on forum when some providing his research you value it when it becomes correct so you may end up giving the tips.

What's wrong is when these people who are sharing tips are asking for payment or a tip too. They are not reliable if they want something they share to be valuable, there are people before that aren't confident of sharing their tips for free because they think that the return of investment that a gambler who'll pay them will be worth. But I don't want that way, I prefer to stick with the free tips and decide for myself if I'll follow it.

Because they like to do it, who cares? Honestly, if you can give your tip, specially in sports betting, it means that you have knowledge about it, sooner or later everyone will be looking at your tip, it is beneficial to them and at the same time to you, since you will start to carefully analyze games, and it will improve you more.

And these tips are few from the things that I know for having it for free. These gamblers that are sharing their tips are not really going to benefit from it if someone takes it and follow those tips. The decision still must go to us and don't always depend on them, we have our own mind to decide and if you trust those tipsters it's still up to you.

 i think they have long term plans of selling those tips and so if they share it for free and are able to build a reputation as a result then they will sell it as VIP coupons and make money. I have seen a lot on Facebook with similar modus opoerandi.

people share tips for many reasons. it may be to get bettor to request for a premium tips or fixed matches which will attract money. to get peoples view on selected games. to get people or refer people to a particular betting blog/website. it might also be for fun or to be a king tipster in the group. it may also be as a result of competition which attract a prize and so on. the most important thing is to make your own prediction. it is better to lost a game predicted by you than to lost a tips share by someone.

In some people then yes, they do really care on other peoples opinions or even share their own profitable tips on public. Some of them do tend to do such thing for the sake of building reputation some are just totally give it for free without any exchange which our mind do tell us. People do have freedom and choice to do such act but we cant really avoid that there are really selfish people.

It seems quite strange actually, if you can really win long term then why not just profit yourself, you can get infinitely rich. It's like those people who claim they have a winning strategy on the roulette and try to sell it, why not use it yourself if it works?

I don't find it something strange because it's quite a norm now if someone is good at predicting and giving good tips for gambling games or specific with sports betting that's also a success for them if the people followed their tips are also winning. They are just not selfish to become rich only by themselves but they want to share it so they keep on helping people and just trying to help us with their tips but don't blame them if you follow their tips and it fails.

Exactly. And I think there's a unwritten rule for gamblers to really share a good tip if they have one. I remember a friend back then who is giving us good tips in horse racing because he is close to some of the horse owners and he himself is a horse training. It was really a good tip because we have won a lot of money back then. So I believed that each gamblers loves to share this tips to fellow gamblers.
