I think people share tips either because:

1) They genuinely want to help other people;

2) They indirectly want to solicit better tips from more skilled people;

3) They want to make a difference by sharing their knowledge;

4) They believe they can gain more from it;

5) They want to check how well others do by getting a glimpse of their statuses;

6) Others.

How about others? Any more that you can add up to this? I am no expert but I am surmising these are the very reasons why some people share tips when in fact they should value what they call 'trade secrets'.

Tips and trade secrets are different things. Tips are general points that may or may not be applied to one's lifestyle, trade secret on the hand could be a 'method' to earn better money.
People would only share there methods if
1) Their method stopped working for them and now they want to earn money/respect/reputation by giving away the method
2) Their method is flawless, they earned too much and are now feeling philanthropic (a common trait of the rich).

That is correct, many tipsters are just here to build trust and reputation and if they have a long winning streak they might be able to convince their followers to pay a premium for VIP tips among others and that's where they will start making their money but as soon as they record a series of poor results they will create another account with a different name and start again.

Well, there are a lot of people asking for money for their premium tips. Philanthropists are at lose if they share their secret tricks to make money, They do that maybe just because they have made enough money by it and want the community to benefit from it, or, maybe for Reputation, Respect or other things.

Talking about Tips, I have been sharing good Gambling Tips on different forums and I don't know why I do it. I feel like telling others and advising them so that they can cut their loses.

Everytime I make a sports Bet, I tend to share it on respective threads meant for Predictions, It's to get some sort of validation.

But Honestly, for all the tips I give, there are barely a few people who honestly follow them, most of them forget them once they hit a red streak

as you can see at this forum some people regularly sharing their tips without hoping the donations from other people and donations are voluntary because usually some of tipster provide their tips for free although some of them also had good results during sport betting and their followers already won big from this

I'm sharing tips so that for only me will experience the blessings. God wants us to be loved to others and showing good things to others is the best way to win people to go to church. If they recognize your love they will follow you. So if l have a big blessing l will share tips also to others.

Basically the amount you win after playing is the reward for your efforts which you putted in game and at the end made it possible for yourself to win the game. I think the people in casinos spreading the knowledge of gambling are basically the employees of those casinos which bind customer with casino.

Only expert people who have already spent a lot of time in gambling may know about the trick, while the other people who do not have nay experience in ambling and are very new in gambling cannot know about the trick, for that first they need to spend a good time in gambling and only then they can get some good tricks. People only like to share such types of tips which they do not have any effect on their income.

I think most of the people share tips to as to find out a single and good conclusion from these tips. In fact we always get confidence when get some good tips from our friends and even feel good when give some tips to our friends and he get agree with our opinions. it's still our responsibility to verify the tips so we will be confident when the moment we will place our bets.

Yeah we might able to call it a trick but only to some games which will really give advantage over others since you do have the experience.Giving tips is on your own choice either it would be beneficial or not for you. Securing income would be there and even adding it up with those tips is possible. Free or not but still not right to rely fully on given tips by people.
