they give tips and share knowledge because they want to try to apply the knowledge they have. but please note that all knowledge and tips is not necessarily true. we have to see how it can be applied because it could be a trap. in this harsh world we will indeed find it difficult to get things, because many others are also wanting the same thing.

This causes every person to know and learn through the sharing and also this is the reason why bitcoin has become popular world-wide. sharing  is to explore and exchange commentary expanding knowledge of every person. Because of it everyone learns and make strategy and not to be deceived, Because of the opinions of each other. This is the reason for many investors invest and it makes a lot of profit in bitcoin because of sharing.

Correct and honest opinion are always being appreciated and due to which people share and care and give the tips to the right opinion when said. Also one of the reasons why today bitcoin is making reaching to the masses or atleast being talked if not directly dealt with.

Yeah, I always wondered that too, some of the answers here don't really convince me. Sure they can earn money with referral links, especially if someone bets big but can't they bet big by themselves? 1. Bragging (bragging rights if it is correct, and just go away if it isn't)
2. To ultimately sell their service (if it is good then people would want to buy the tips)
3. Just to keep record (like a diary of sorts)

It's possible that they are not selfish and they want to share what they are winning, they don't want to share the money directly but they want to see if people will follow their tips. They don't mind if there will be people that will follow their tips. As long as they are just showing on how good they are when it comes to prediction.

But that doesn't mean that if someone gave you a tip then he is a good person, NO, because sometimes, the tips that they are sharing is not true or just a way to scam or steal our money, for example, someone is giving a link saying that is his tutorial on how you could win in the DICE game in a certain gambling site, but the link that the gave to you guys is just a phising link, but you didn't know that is why you log in on that link using your email and password which is the same email you use on your bitcoin wallet, something like that, and the next day,  all of your money is gone.

People sharing tips isn't always a good things since whenever someone shares tips there is a large probability that a lot of people will bet according to his tips which might not be right in all the cases . Gambling websites and bookies always lower the odds of the choices that a lot of people put their money on so instead of having a 2.5 odd on a winning teal you'll have 1.5 , and the opposite team will have  a higher odd in consequence , so people who share tips can lead people to bet on a team knowing for sure that it will loose just to enhance his winnings potential .

Sometimes the tipster only bet small on the slip to let them know that he is bet on that match, i think the tipster is looking referrals for sure and they also can receive donation from the winning tips. The tipster also get reputation though and also this is a hobby too, so why not share our hobby.

But if you want referrals that means your bets are reliable and you will win long term from them so why not bet yourself and make a lot of money, if your bets aren't good you are not going to get referrals anyways so it seems strange to me to just give tips instead of winning the money yourself.

Can't resist to laugh out extremely hard watching your stance on this. You think we - the tipsters decrease our "profits" by sharing the tips as well as winning possibilities with others? No.
Because first thing first that odds change every now and then, so we really don't risk our stakes of getting less profits for our wins. We love to share it thinking that others may take some advantage of our knowledge and decide if they wish to join us or not on our bets. We - tipsters provide tips in which we are already involved (bets already placed on the given odds), so tell me even if the odds change for you how will we be in loss?

About the topic, I don't really think these tips are worth anything unless they prove their worth. So the question begs that these tipsters should post sample events and what are the odds of the game. It would be better to just share the betting slip, so that people could be appraised of how well the tipster is doing. Usually its just so hard to even keep up with everyone of them.

Once you make your bet the odds do not move for you, so it does not affect them to give tips to people, for some of the reasons I think that some may like to be helpful to the community, some could like the recognition and some others may do it to show they are very good at what they do and want to show it off, but there are probably many more reasons that we have not thought about it.

Well I think they do that to build some public credibility when it comes to their predictions so that when the time becomes right for them they can monetize the tips and turn it into an online business. Some even go to the extent of creating VIP groups on Facebook and other places after giving off a series of free bets which turned out to be successful.

Well, if they have the skill to predict what player or team is going to win more often that not, then I do not see why they should not able to monetize their skill, so that seems like a good way to build some reputation for those that have that valuable skill.

You are not actually getting the point of his post. He is pertaining for users who are sharing tips here in gambling discussion which are not all a professional sports bettor because they are using only newbie account, And agree with him in some point. Some user here just sharing tips just to promote their site or to received referral commission, As you can see on the most tipster thread here, The ratio of win to lose is almost equal and just giving tipster without a thorough analysis.

Yes, that could be an excuse to do good by helping others. But for a more realistic and sensible reason is because people want to get a reputation and a good name. Most also write tips and threads because they want to follow the Signature Campaign. If you just post something, it seems it will look normal. But if we are also active in making threads, surely it will seem as if we are an active member and good in this forum.
