As Bitcoin keep climbing and altcoin keeps going down, is it better to invest in bitcoin or altcoin now?
Right now, I can see that bitcoin will go up in mid-November. That is why, bitcoin is not a good investment right now. But of course, you can still get profit. The best entry for bitcoin right now is 5800 usd and the profit part is at 6000+ USD up in the mid November. Goodluck! |

Right now, I can see that bitcoin will go up in mid-November. That is why, bitcoin is not a good investment right now. But of course, you can still get profit. id say that it depends on the situation. if altcoins is going down then its always a good idea to buy and hold some. but if the bitcoins is dropping , then i buy it although i personally prefer bitcoins over altcoins because i can make a quick profit on it in just a matter of short time and i can say that altcoins are only good for a long term investment and only if you have a patience to wait for thier values to go up or pump. |

I think both are good and if we invest in both the currencies I think it will the most popular and profitable ad ideal investment decision. People want to invest their money in a project where they can receive regular income over that like in the past people were using banks for keeping their money and receive instant interest rate over them but now instead of keeping in bank they invested in the crypto currency market and become rich.

Yes, I agree with you. Bitcoin has been trusted by many people, companies, investors, whales, sharks. Therefore, investing in it can't make you lose money. Actually the bitcoin only give us good profit in trading. Look the price variation every day. Nowadays minimum $100 to $200 price variation we see in bitcoin. Sometimes it will cross an unexpected value. So putting money on bitcoins is always safe to put money on altcoins. |

Investing in Bitcoin is a safer option, but the growth in Altcoin is tremendous and quick. There are many Altcoin which grew around 1000% in 8 months. With such profit, risk follows. While Altcoin is riskier when compared to Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a stable growth & drop, but Altcoin growth and drop is exponential. |

Bitcoin price will drop soon due to corrections so you should wait for the price drop before buying it. I think buying altcoins is a good choice as price already dropped so you can get it cheaper and with some research you can make good profit of off altcoins in short term. |

Bitcoin price will drop soon due to corrections so you should wait for the price drop before buying it. I think buying altcoins is a good choice as price already dropped so you can get it cheaper and with some research you can make good profit of off altcoins in short term. we can hope that bitcoin will drop soon like you said so we can buy more bitcoin later. i think if we can buy altcoin right now then we have big chance to make profit when bitcoin price is drop because altcoin will increase and if the drop of the bitcoin price is too deep then altcoin will make big party. we have a longer time before we can see the altcoin price is increase back and i think we can search to find a good altcoins so we can make that profit. |

To answer this question you first need to determine wether you want to invest short or long-term. Btc is developing more stably so it can be said that btc will be suitabler for long-term investments than altcoin and vice versa. If you want to invest in btc should do now, not hesitate. If you want to invest in altcoins then you should consider the market more carefully to choose when to buy and what altcoin is . |

I would prefer to choose both, rather than investing or focusing in a single category only. This is the current thing that I'm doing right now. For bitcoins, I just hold them until next year or store them even more until the price predicted around $10k or even $30k per btc has been reached. In regards to alts, I do weekly or even monthly trading and convert them to btc and do the latter. With this kind of thing, you'll have better options which your investment will be versatile and your potential on gaining from your investment increases. |

My point of view about present situation is I will invest in bitcoin only either it is for long term or short term what ever it is Bitcoin is my choice for investment at present. If we look into the track record of bitcoin it will shows and proves you that bitcoin is far better then altcoin. Always I suggest to go with safest player which should have potential to grow in future.
For me I prefer investing in bitcoin and altcoin. Altcoin is also profitable just choose the good project and more development to make in order to rise the price of a certain altcoin. Short term or long term is okay as long you know how to manage your trading in bitcoin. If I have to choose one from the given options. It will be bitcoin because this digital currency can give more benefits than any other asset including both digital and physical. It has left all the forms of investment far behind in regards of making money. The best thing about it is the investor does not need to wait for a long time. In past, in order to earn a thousand dollars profit, investors needed to wait for year but now BTC gives this much within weeks. |

They have pros and cons. Altcoins will give you more profit than bitcoin but it is hard to know which coin will give you a great amount of money. SOme of them even decrease the price. Bitcoin, on the other hand, gives you a small profit but it is stable. There is nothing can stop bitcoin from increasing the price

It is always better to invest in bitcoin because its price is always known. While in altcoin, your investment is like gambling, which you need to be lucky to gain more. Also bitcoin will be the basis of the price of altcoin so if you have the chance to in bitcoin , choose bitcoin first. That is why it is altcoin, it is alternative for the main thing, if situations does not favor for bitcoin, then try it. |

It's better to avoid altcoin for now. I have bought 3 altcoins on this month and I monitor them long enough that I though it already reached it's lowest price but I was wrong. Bitcoin continues to pull them down so I don't invest any altcoin for now.
