Seeing as there are quite a few threads I think it be nice to collect the better bits and keep it as a reference for the DIY'ers out there. I will add links to threads and outside sources. Feel free to discuss below anything that you do not want to clutter BKKCoins thread. Keep things KLONDIKE related or adjacent like Alten or Burins builds. Others who are producing Klondikes are welcome to add and report their project progress here as well. I will try and consolidate and summarize things in the reserved / update section.

Thanks a lot for doing this. You created this thread while I was typing a suggestion to do exactly this.

One suggestion is use bitcointalk.org in the urls instead of IP. Many people don't want to accept uncertified SSL connections. Smiley

It be nice to have a DIY manual to put together so that users can get a K1 and K16 up and mining in zero to no time at all.

Cut and Paste anyone?

Please make sure you send your develop chips if you have control of any to BKKCoins... he needs 16 to fully test the K16.

NOTE : on further investigation I must note it appears this only works with laser toner printers ( if you don`t have one then print with an Inkjet then photocopy it).

Some report printing on glossy magazine paper works best and i have read passing the stencil and print a few times through a laminator instead of an iron.

I might have a play with this shortly if someone can point me in the direction of the relevant file on github and suggest the software I would need to open it ?

I'm not sure how this would be faster or more accurate than hand-placing with tweezers.. This "just" kind of removes one of the axis when placing the parts, but looks so much slower?
But then I never placed lots of tiny SMT parts on a board.

Anything that can steady your hand and rest it allowing for consistent movement might speed things up given you have a vacuum tip right? Much easier.
