Somebody was talking about direct shares in the other thread, can somebody tell me how this works?
How will the shares be stored?
How will the shares be traded?
Etc, etc. etc.

9+6=15... do we have 3 extra GB1 miners?  Cool
probably the extra is to replace the previously DOA miners

3 extra miners are to Group buy #2

And there is NO DOA miners, just 2 boards which should be around 240GHs loss. We will try to get them swapped out with the next pickup for the GB2 and GB3 miners.

Current status is that Group Buy #1 is COMPLETE and is hashing around 6TH/s !

Holders of GB shares had the option to use bitfunder or use "direct" shares. A direct share simply means we hold your btc address on file and send dividends to that btc address. With the closure of Bitfunder for people from the USA we said we would allow people to change there bitfunder shares to "direct" shares. To do so follow the instructions here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=244042.msg3308356#msg3308356

The window for transfers is open again untill next dividend payment planned wednesday.

Does someone get verified by WeEx?

Because I uploaded required documents over 48h ago and still no response.
I think they have a huge backlog at the moment.. I hope they get to it soon!

Will it be a routine that payout will be every Wednesday?
For now, yes we'll try to.. As soon as we have all miners from all GB's this might change to a different day.

I didn't get a dividend on Wednesday the 16th as expected. Is this correct? I am a non-American holding citizen holding shares on BitFunder and I am currently awaiting my WeExchange verification.

IIRC dividends are being delayed until SAT.  They are getting the rest of the miners and setting up so they are putting off dividends.  It may be on the security threads.  I will look for the link...  I found the link and I see you found it and were answered.

I'm an American and have shares in the group buy #1.

If I read the posting correctly if I just wait all of my group buy 1 shares on BitFunder will revert to direct shares at the end of November?

Seems like easiest thing to do instead of creating yet another account.

Is that correct?

Important Notice (November 4, 2013)

Please be advised that BitFunder is ceasing operations. In connection with BitFunder's shut-down, please note the following points, which supplement the points outlined in BitFunder's October 8, and October 11, 2013 notices:

As of November 14, 2013, no BitFunder user will be able to enter into any new positions or sell positions on the BitFunder website.

BitFunder users are encouraged to transfer their shares from the BitFunder site to the respective issuer(s) no later than December 1, 2013.

As of December 2, BitFunder will initiate a transfer from the BitFunder site to the respective issuer(s) of any remaining shares held by BitFunder users, and will provide the issuer(s) with the public bitcoin address associated with the user account. After transfer, each user will need to work with the issuer(s) with respect to the future treatment of the shares.

On December 2, 2013, bitcoin balances in the accounts of all users will be transferred to their WeExchange accounts.

As of the date of this notice, BitFunder is not assessing any new fees against any BitFunder user.

Notwithstanding the shut-down, the site will remain available for viewing and users will be able to request records from BitFunder until at least December 15, 2013.

BitFunder appreciates your understanding in these matters.

Any Info with what is going on here?

Bitfunder closing, no dividend payments since 10th November, no e-mails regarding the situation.

What is happening to our shares and where are the payments?
