To give more people access to these wonderful miners each share is only 0.5BTC. Each miner is divided into 120 Shares.
Spec per miner (KNC Jupiter)
350GHs (possible 30% more with optimization )
1 Share gives you the right to 1/124th of the BTC proceeds from a KNC Jupiter Miner mining 24/7 for 24 months after deduction of costs for hosting. The remaining 4 shares will be owned by OP as payment for maintaining the miners.
Edit 2013-06-09 12:49 : As suggested by LiteBit; under costs for hosting we also mean costs for PSU/shipping and any other related costs that are unforeseen at this point. We aim for a transparent organisation. Our only 'profit' is the 4 shares per miner we keep as payment. This is to ensure we have a smooth IPO where all assets, liabilities, costs and profits are clearly defined.
Payment will be bases on the total proceeds from all miners in this group buy plus the miners bought privately by OP. We believe this is the most honest way to deal with payments and makes it easier to go public with the shares.
The miners will be hosted at KNC Sweden, a datacenter in the Netherlands or in Norway depending on pricing and service offered at KNC.
After 24 months the miners will be considered end-of-life and become the property of OP (Blastbob and Tyrion70).
How to buy shares
You need to send 0.5 BTC per share and post the TX id in this thread or PM. Make sure you own the send address used. We will use the sending address for payouts. Change of this address is only possible with a signed message from that address.
Miners will be divided into 120 shares. For each lot completely filled an actual payment to KNC will be done. All lots not completed when pre-orders close the 9th of June 2013 will be refunded.
In case of non-delivery
We believe KNC will keep its promises. In case KNC does not deliver we will do everything in our power to refund your (and our own) investments. We cannot guarantee this however. Buying these shares means you agree to not hold us responsible in case KNC does not deliver.
In case of hardware failure
We believe the gear should be able to run 24 months, but since there are no working devices yet we simply don’t know. In case of hardware failure we will have KNC repair or replace the machine. Any costs involved will be deducted from payment as costs.

Dividends
Payouts will take place bi-weekly. Statements will be made available on
http://p2pool.nl/blog/Payment will commence when first miner is delivered. Payouts will increase as every miner is delivered until the group buy and private buy are complete. As you can see below, 4 miners have already been privately purchased and brought into this group buy.
We plan to make an IPO on btct.co in order to make it possible to trade your shares. Untill that time it is possible to transfer ownership of your shares. We will however charge a 0.1BTC transfer fee for this.
What's moreWe've found out (the hard way) that BTC price can have a big influence on share price. For miner 5 and above we will either payout or deduct any difference in market from first dividend payment. To smoothen this we will spread this over all future bought miners. So if we "lose" 2BTC in miner 6 and "win" 1BTC in miner 7, 1BTC will be deducted from payouts on miner 6 and 7.
