People who does the selling are those who are new in trading they do not know what they will do when they see their money dropping so they sell it because they are afraid that they might lose more. It's called panic selling eventually they will learn from their mistakes and will start holding their bitcoin.

It is a good and smart way if you buy bitcoin with a low price and then if you have a patience to hold this i think you will get a huge of money someday just sell it if the price goes up ! Many people became rich by doing that just believe and br patient always.

I think you're in the right track, the thing is that people got a little scared when bitcoin price go down. So in order for them to maintain their money, they will try to hold that in that state, and when the bitcoin start to rise again, they will once again invest in bitcoin. not all people are a like they are not like you that thinks that way. But i think , in order for us to really earn in this kind of investment, we must all think the same way as you are.

Because some people want to just cut off their lossess. They think that instead of losing more they will just sell it even if the price is lower than their purchase. We can't blame them though because there are circumstances that we cannot control and there are some people who gambled everything they have to buy btc for the hope of having huge profits. So when things turn out to be not what they expected and instead of surging it dipped they then started panicking because they have no assurance when will it get back up.

Maybe that the case of others, and maybe they are new to bitcoin. Sometimes we pursue on something we do not actually know in the first place so eventually we first need to study what is up with this thing before continuing what we want to do. If they already know what's behind bitcoin investment they will not sell it at a low price and wait until they profit if that's what they'd up to.

They must not panic sell. I know it is painful to watch your money going down. They must know that bitcoin is unstable so it will fall and rise someday and sometimes very hard.

I had also invested some btc, but I am still holding it even when the price drops to 1k.

Yeah that is good, but at the moment we don't have price down yet as much as $5000. It is continue to rise so how people or investor can buy in a small amount if it is still rising. It is hard to predict the amount of bitcoin but it is also good that we have a good amount of bitcoin today.

Well, let's say you bought btc with 100$ a month ago and now the price is 150$, when the price starts decreasing any wise trader will sell it before it goes bellow the 100$ he invested and thus even in such case you can guarantee a good profit between 1 and 50$ depending on the price you sold for.
Besides, most traders start panicking when they see the chart going down and they start selling to cut their losses.
You should have strong nerves to hold your fund for a long time that's way not every one can invest and succeed in trading.

You might need to wait MUCH more than a month.

In December of 2013 the exchange rate got as high as $1290 per bitcoin.  Then it "dropped drastically".  It did not get back up to $1290 for 40 months!

After 2 years of not getting back up to the previous high, would you still believe that it "eventually" would?  It's easy to say that looking back at the past now, because you know what it did.  But when you are looking forward at the future, things don't always feel so certain.

What would you do if you bought more bitcoin than you could afford to lose, and needed that money during those 3 years?  You might have to sell at a loss to pay some bills or debts.

Selling bitcoin now is a good choice because the value might go down very soon and you don't want that to happen because you will lose all of your bitcoin and if that happens you will be really sad.

My friend did also selling he made losses because he traded wrong and he did sometimes panic selling. He is now a skilled person in trading he knows when to trade it.

He even nows somethings better than me. He also has now a lot of bitcoins he is saving them.

My friend did also selling he made losses because he traded wrong and he did sometimes panic selling. He is now a skilled person in trading he knows when to trade it.

well i believe sellibg bitcoin must be in a right time and in a right place .i believe bitcoin is not jus like a simple money to waste over the simple thing .i believe bitcoin is verry important and it can become really a great source  of extra income someday that is why maybe  we can preserve it right now for tommorows preparation.

Yeah, after you buy 100$ worth BTC and it goes down and it is 10$ worth BTC for a month, then the next, than the next, then it goes down to 1 $, maybe you'll think differently then

And by the way, it is NOT the impossible scenario, we have seen BTC price go down from 1000$ to 200$ or 300$ levels and it was there for many many months.

I guess that because the greed, many people borrow money with the high interest rate to buy bitcoin. And after few weeks, when the interest is too high, they have to sell Bitcoin to repay.

The best thing to do whenever its value is falling, is to hold and invest. We should not mind the backdrops because that's a normal thing on investment, that's particularly the risk on any investment. So since you already took the risj the moment you've invested, just stick to the plan since the market value of Bitcoin is continuously increasing.

This seldom happens to people who are already well-educated about Bitcoin and trading. If this happens it means there is a very valid reason for doing so. Perhaps they have seen another much better opportunities other than Bitcoin from which they could gain much. They are probably be investing in another altcoin which is expected to pump.
