You should buy Nano Ledger or Treazor to keep it. All of Mobile wallets can be hacked.   Undecided

Yeah, i use both. I like them and i feel secure with it.

My favorite is ledger nano s. Out of all the other hardware wallets out there, it's the most secure and easiest with great compatibility.

For LTC you can use either Litevault or Litecoin Core. For altcoins, this depends on what altcoins you have. If you have ETH, you can use MyEtherWallet, Exodus, Jaxx, MetaMask to store your coins. If what you have are ERC-20 tokens, you can store it on MyEtherWallet or ImToken and just trade it in any exchange that accepts it, e.g. EtherDelta.

Why do not you keep it on the exchange site? If that's not convenient for you, you can find the desktop wallet that has been provided by the associated altcoin developer.

First, take a look on specs on your coin/token. Then find right wallet, always make sure you know, what you do. Do backup aways, just in case you make some mistake.

If you possess LTC you can store your LTC on your ''cold'' wallet. But if you are a traded I recommend to keep coins on exchangers. But bear in mind. it is less secure.

I am waiting for my Ledger Nano S, in the mean time using MyEtherWallet - great solution. I don't really trust the apps or web based wallets though that hold your private keys, I do control them.

For supporting the many number of alternate cryptocurrencies I am using myether wallet which is really the best one to use for storing alt cryptocurrencies. And apart from myether wallet i also use exodus,Ledger nano s. Actually Myether wallet is good and secured to use if you are using the Ethereum based tokens otherwise i always like to go with hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S, as it is built on very high secured technology and it can be taken to anywhere you want to have it.

LTC can be stored on Nano S using the Bitcoin wallet. As new to crypto, I tried to store all currency on Nano S, But as said here, it is a bit cumbersome. So I’ll try to keep coin for long term storage on the Nano S

Hmm, don't know why everyone is suggesting myetherwallet, when he is clearly stating LTC.
I think you can try popular wallets like coinbase, Eidoo, Jaxx etc. to store your LTC. If you are comfortable (I am not) with offline wallets, then you can download the official wallet of LTC also. And finally, if you want to store Ethereum based erc-20 tokens then you can try Myetherwallet, Mist browser addon etc. But just keep in mind that it is not for LTC.

I'm using MyetherWallet. A good friend advised, and it is difficult to pick up a key to him in the case of a 32-character hack attempt
