Well I think MyEtherWallet still the best one for alt however you like solace departure would be a decent choice. There are a considerable measure of altcoins there and you have shapeshift for exchange( however this isn't modest trade). Anyway in the event that you have time take in more about these wallets. Mass migration has a long history and still great wallet and Myehterwallet bolster the greater part of the altcoins I think

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

if you are still unsure of the cryptocurrency wallet, you can try wallet exchanger where you have to activate all existing security, to be completely safe
and if you don't believe in a centralized platform, you can save your funds in a hardware wallet like the Ledger Nano

What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better

I always use exchange wallet to store my altcoin except erc20 token.
I don't want to spam my computer with so many wallet so i use exchange wallet. easy to use
in my opinion it is safer to use myetherwallet or imtoken,
because to save on the exchanger it would be dangerous

I recommend myetherwallet. All ERC20 can be saved to myetherwallet. I want to remind you that you must keep your private key. Because the private key is very important

For altcoin storage, proven multi-currency wallets such as: Jaxx, MyEtherWallet, Exodus, MultiBit HD and mSIGNA are better suited.

I am a client of Jaxx, however it doesn't have nearby encryption. To terrible since that would be very simple to assemble it to the item. Mass migration sounds like what I will use for my Desktop wallet.. . I right now get a kick out of the chance to utilize a methodology of a few wallets much like

Altcoin blockchains is not big how btc and eth blockchains, so you can store full node in your pc.
If you ready to lose your funds you can also store it on exchanges.

some say Neo is an up and coming contender for Ethereum however I sincerely don't see that occurrence yet. Their wallet was an agony to set up for the Red Pulse ICO. When you have acquainted yourself with it is okayish At minimum it is one of the wallets I will utilize.

almost all wallets have their own level of security with the technology. safe or not depending on how you hide the password. hide it in a safe place, don't let other people know your key.

There are many wallet for altcoins. Like myeth wallet, neo wallet, block-chain wallet, BitFi wallet,... But i use myeth wallet and block-chain wallet. If you choose myeth wallet, you should use metamask. If you choose block-chain wallet, you should set two factor authentication. It need authy app from google. Maybe in the future i'll use BitFi wallet from Mc Afee.

Wallets for altcoins should be used by many people, therefore, based on the popularity of the crypto-currency sector to crypto-currency purses, it can be said that this is a valid statistic that we can rely on.

You have to check what blockchain hosts the Altcoin first and foremost..
Then you can know what wallet to use. A lot of Altcoins are in the thrown blockchain and that's why a lot of people are suggesting myetherwallet .
It's an erc20 wallet. But others hosted on the waves blockchain and the rest need corresponding wallets
