I think edge wallet on android can help you add erc20 coins, it is rather easy, doesn't have that big of a support for all the coins in the market, but just the mainstream ones.

I will suggest you use myetherwallet or metamask because they have very good potentials, they are safe, reliable and also secure as long as you keep your private keys very safe. You can also use hardware wallet to store it for long term.
I agree, but I much prefer to metamask rather than myetherwallet because I've already experience about being stolen from somebody without knowing how, even I keep my private key and showing It In public. I guess many myetherwallet users experience about this, so beware of that.
My ether wallet is the best wallet to store but if you can afford hardware wallet just use it to keep security.

OMG... The OP bought LITECOIN, and why do you suggest using MyEtherWallet and MetaMask to store LITECOIN?
The funny advice from you LOL.

there are 2 sorts of wallet as of now, that is wallet equipment and wallet programming, wallet equipment prone to be more secure, my recommendation, if your store isn't generally a major reserve, I think MyEtherWallet is a decent decision for you. you simply need to spare the private key and json records on a protected place like SD card, flashdisk, or whatever it is. what's more, never offer to anybody.

My advice for the best Wallet is Copay. Copay is a Bitcoin or Altcoin wallet by Bitpay and is available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Linux, Max OS X, and Windows. Because Copay is available on many platforms. Copay's simple and clean user interface makes it a good choice for Bitcoin or new Altcoin users. Copay is also a good choice for businesses because of the shared account feature, which requires a number of users to sign each transaction.

What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better

I wonder why you need your own wallet for altcoins?
Why you dont keep your coins in exchanges so that you can easily buy or sell at any time?
Choose legit exchanges, please!

I propose you to use trezor, which is highly recommended for those long-term holders. This device allows you to store of almost two dozen altcoins including LTC, and all your ERC20 tokens.

Since Copay is accessible on numerous stages. Copay's basic and clean UI settles on it a decent decision for Bitcoin or new Altcoin clients. Copay is additionally a decent decision for organizations on account of the mutual record highlight, which requires various clients to sign every exchange.

I was torn between Trezor and Nano Ledger. In the end I decided to go for the Nano as the Trezor did only support very few coins. What‘s the point of enhanced security if you can only apply it to 10% of your stack?

To store the basic assets, I would recommend that you use a cold wallet. To trade and move coins, it is better to use a mytherwallet or metamask.
When choosing a wallet, look at how much it is safe and susceptible to hacking.

In case of ERC-20 MEW is good option (best to use it offline).
For all other altcoins I would highly recommend downloading official wallets to PC if you want them in hot wallet.

Im utilizing Myetherwallet to store altcoins and additionally ERC20 Token, yet Myetherwallet is under assault a considerable measure, so if online capacity will be easy to take the record. The guidance for you is to store altcoins in cool wallet, for example, TREZOR; at that point in the event that you require exchange then you import into Myetherwallet, it will be sheltered and not hesitant to lose the property.

What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better
The most better wallet for altcoins to store for long time is XSODUS , this wallet is available to use at Mac or Windows both in your laptop and you can easily put every better Altcoins here easily .
but you should use this wallet if you want to hold your a ltcoins for long term , because this is very secure and take time to withdraw  .
And if you don't want this type of wallet with has multiple altcoins deposit then it will be more better for you to use litecoin official wallet .
for this you can get easily wallet at official site of litecoin that is litecoin.org .
and if you don't have any type of PC or laptop then it will be more better for you to choose a better exchange to put your light coins because almost every exchange have better security , since there are some chances to face some issues but all over you will find better services .
You can use poloniex, bittrex , bitfinex , binance put your altcoins there , hear another suggestion for you that don't share your ID or password of your wallet to anyone because if once it is steal by anyone then you will not found output and input that who stole your money .
