I think its a good idea. Saving some bitcoins for your children would be nice if bitcoin's life will continue until they can actually use it. Even if they're still tiny as a kitten you already set your goals and see to their future.

I think bitcoin is actually using it to help in our daily lives. I invest in bitcoin ,, for the sake of my family, I buy cheaply, and sell when bitcoin prices go up, after I get the benefits, I will put it in the bank .. for my family needs.

I do the same thing as you. I started to save a small part of my bitcoin with a hope in the future my children will be able to use it to cover their needs.I will save bitcoin for their health education any many more thing.

I would like to suggest you that don’t change bitcoin into fiat and keep carryon bitcoin business and not handing over this to your children till they don’t understand bitcoin completely because bitcoin is not only a currency,I need to save money because I like saving because I can't predict what would future bring. Every parent who becomes bitcoin really thinks about it. I want my children and their future families to have a rich life and I do not want to see them arguing over money so I will save a lot of liquor even I have no children because family is the most important thing in the world.

Saving is a financial preparation for what you plan ahead, it is also a back up case something goes beyond what you expect. Saving Bitcoins for your children is good. On the part wherein, password or other means of access may lost, in terms of technicality we always find a solution in every problem. It is human nature to solve the puzzle thus for me it is minor issue. That is a great idea, buy when the price is low then buy more when we got money. Safe them in deposit box and keep them until our children grown up, it could be a treasure for them.

While I don't technically have saving of Bitcoin set aside for my children I am actively working myself toward a greater number of Bitcoin. Once I reach said goal one day hopefully I can pass it onto children, or nieces and nephews but there is time for this yet.

I made a paper wallet for my son and I deposit a smaller amount of Bitcoins there every month. I kept it in a secret place that only me and another person knows.

I definitely think that saving bitcoin or fiat for your childrens future is a very good decision. You should teach someone in your family what bitcoin is and tell him or give him your private key(you should just give it to your most trusted people in the family) in case of emergency.

I do not care about my son's future because him future is very good education. I'm not against with your decision but no one is sure of what is the future of bitcoin.

Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins.

not sure if you ever heard of physical bitcoin. maybe you can use that and save it there instead
why? if a person is not knowledgeable on how to access bitcoin wallet, 2fa etc. then it's not worth it
if you wanna save it on a wallet from site then maybe teach your kids how to open it and educate them about bitcoin

I believe paper money savings are better for the next generation due to the unexpected bitcoin ups and downs. You never know, when the market can crash, whether it can become stronger.
