I use bitcoins to transfer money from Manila, Philippines to Sao Paolo, Brazil... so far this is the most convenient way for me to send money to my brother which I do not have to convert currency before sending it. On the other end, my brother can store the money in his wallet and not spend it right away.

There are so many uses of bitcoin. That is a great example of using bitcoin as a way of transferring money from one place to another and if i were you, i will tell my brother to not spend bitcoin because it has a good future and its price can go even higher than the price right now and it is best to store the most of his bitcoin and spend the few for expenses so he can balance the bitcoin enough to have a good money for expenses and investment.

Lol. When you say it, you manage to downgrade Bitcoin a substantial amount. The thing is, this is pretty much true. There are a few other trivial things that you can use Bitcoin for, but they are numerous and hardly worth mentioning. The main use of Bitcoin would be for investing and trading.
