Hm... I have .001 ACC tokens in my wallet. Is that enough to stake with?

I would like to support this project more but I don't trust any of the exchanges I could buy it from.
You can stake, but with such a low amount, what you would get from staking would be way smaller than the amount you pay for gas and this makes it unprofitable.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Can you please show a simulation of a profitable stake of ACC, how much gas I have to pay each 3 days. Thank you.

What do you mean? Right now you can make an Ethereum transaction for about 20 cents and it is processed quite quickly.
Personally I have 115 coins and I am getting around 0.52 per day, I mine them once in 20 days.

I see it looks like ACC has a pretty bright future. I bought some ACC yesterday. I hope the ACC will soon be listed on other major exchanges so that the ACC price will touch $ 25

I see that ACC is only listed on two exchanges ie EtherDelta and IDEX. ACC is a big coin, I think ACC should be listed in more exchanges again. I hope ACC can be listed on big bourses like Bitrex and Binance

That would be a very long term goal. It's already good to see ACC on an exchange that is not Etherdelta (because its a pain from time to time), even though the volume is quite low.

ACCELERATOR LISTED IN COINEXCHANGE!!

https://www.coinexchange.io/market/ACCL/BTC

That's great news, everything other than delta is good.
This is rocket science to me and I still do not get it, is it more profitable to hold or we should mine now and re-buy on the exchange?
I'm using cryptocompare.com mining calculator. I am entering 70Mh/s, power consumption and cost per Kwh - 0, miner fee 0%. Is this correct?
It shows that with such hashing power we will get only $6 in Ethereum per day while spending 0.48 ACC. If we assume that 1 ACC is at $20, then there is no point in mining right now? I am waiting for someone more intelligent than me to reply.

With the fee mentioned above of 20 cents, in order to be profitable, you would need to get from staking more than 20 cents = ~0.008 ACC (at current price of 1 ACC = $23.84).

Proof-of-stake Annual Interest (From October 2017):

Year ACC Increase Total Supply After
1st Year 300% 1 Million
2nd Year 100% 2 Million
3rd Year 50% 3.5 Million
4th – 16th 10% 10 million

Theoretically, for 1st year, it should be 0.82% daily, or 2.46% for 3 days minimum stake. The official calculator says 0.45% daily.
Given the example of the user above with 115 coins getting 0.52 coins daily, that equals to 0.45% daily or 1.35% every 3 days. Will use this in calculation.
0.45% of 1.778 ACC = ~0.008 ACC daily
1.35% of 0.592 ACC = ~0.008 ACC every 3 days
The amount of ACC needed to break even could be even lower if you stake after longer periods of time, up to the maximum allowed of 90 days.
These amounts are true only for the time being as the gas and ACC price changes constantly plus the yearly interest rate.

Dunno why everyone cares so much about fees. I use 0.1 Gwei (100,000,000 Wei) - worked out to 0.6 cents the last time I staked.
I could do it 150 times for a dollar.

What do you mean? Right now you can make an Ethereum transaction for about 20 cents and it is processed quite quickly.
Personally I have 115 coins and I am getting around 0.52 per day, I mine them once in 20 days.

Lets do a calculation (Disclaimer: not 100% sure its accurate).

Stake every 3.5 days Vs. 20 days (3.5 instead of 3, so it can be done same time twice a week for simplicity).
1 day = 0.0045%, 3.5 days = 0.01575%, 20 days = 0.09%

Till October? 8 months... approx 244 days.
So:
For 3.5 days 69.71 'cycles'.
For 20 days  12.20 'cycles'.

So,
1.01575 ^ 69.71 = 2.972419 times your money.
1.09 ^ 12.2        = 2.861563 times your money.

Extra effort in cycles =  69.71 - 12.20 = 57.51 cycles.

Amount of money earned difference: 0.110856 * 115 = 12.75 ACC Tokens.
Which is 12.75/57.51 tokens per cycle = 0.222 tokens per cycle.

If 1 Token is $20 (very conservative estimate), then that is USD$4.44 per cycle for the labor.
(Gas cost negligible, I use 0.1 Gwei = half a cent usually).

How long does it take you to complete a cycle?

For me, I use a "Send Offline Transaction" so about 5 minutes. If you do it online (less secuirty but faster), it would be 1 minute or less.
For me, at 5 minutes, thats 4.44 * 12 = USD$53.28 an hour, after taxes ~ USD$43 an hour.

If you had 50 coins and were ready to mine, do you send all 50 to yourself, or the very minimum like 0.00001?

Seems the devs don't do much promotion of ACC. Almost never see anything on twitter. No one ever talks about this coin. How is it not on any other exchanges? So many other newer coins already on kucoin, hitbtc, binance. Maybe they could run a bounty campaign, to promote ACC. Maybe when they pay for the mining facility they can offer better deals on mining. If you are mining with solar isn't all the electricity free?

I think they are not doing much because a lot of people already know about the token, as indicated by its price on etherdelta. I wish they would work harder to increase the price but then people would not use the token for mining other currencies. So, it is a tradeoff I guess.

There will be some great news in March regarding Accelerator, cant say more on the subject yet. The volume is down currently because Etherdelta is having some issues. No news from Coinexchange on wallet fix yet. I am the Accelerator admin Pika Chu btw.
