It was one on the issue Satoshi saw the world needed it. But as far now it mainly use is trading for speculation by the newbie and holding by one who bought it years ago.

Of course it needs to be legalised FIRST somewhere. But after that a, will you buy something online and pay in BTC ?
Or it’s just a form of investment like gold was a decade ago ?

I have used Bitcoins to make purchases at Overstock.com but I mostly hold what I have. It’s hard to justify spending Bitcoins when the value could double in a matter of months.

There’s also the issue of fees that add to the cost of using Bitcoin as a method of payment. Until that issue is resolved, I think Bitcoin will mostly be used as an investment and a store of value. That may be all it ever is which is fine as long as the price keeps going up or at least doesn’t back track.

I got your point.
That was scared most of the holder from speding it: it value will continue growth and now we see just as an investment and not like a form of payment.

IBMINER DONE A GOOD JOB. I learned a lesson from him. He gave me negative trust just because i was dealing with account seller. To buy an account.

I am not using, but soon will be utilizing Bitcoin, however the fee is too high at the moment, and my plans are to use Ethereum for buying or selling anything online. Bitcoin will become top digital currency soon because of a lot of trust in  it than any other cryptocurrency.

Yes satoshi wanted to use it for this purpose but in the modern world, things change so was it's concept changed and that's how the world is, while I can't buy directly using Bitcoin what I do is pay the person in coins and take money via vouchers and bank account so yes I buy a lot of stuff using Bitcoins, but not directly as not many people accept bitcoin as direct payments but I am sure it will get accepted in future.

No we don't think so. Bitcoin is mainly used online to pay online. Most of the companies accept the first confirmation and the 1st confirmation usually takes 10 to 15 mins if you pay the normal default fee. By paying a little more higher fee,  tx can be confirmed much earlier also. Also bitcoin is into transformation through forks and soon this issue of slow confirmation will be solved forever as more larger blocks would be there meaning much earlier confirmations.

I haven't utilized it as an installment technique yet. I haven't seen it yet where I purchase on the web, however regardless of the possibility that I there was the alternative of BTC I wouldn't do it. I believe that correct now BTC has more an incentive as a benefit in exchanging or simply contributing instead of utilizing it as an exchange coin.

i think the world got greedier and we all want to hold it as an investment rather than a day to day currency which we will use to make micro payments. I for instance only spend a few satoshis when i want to hire a service online or send  some money to a friend or colleague or some rare emergencies. It's just not worth spending them now and paying huge fees  for little transactions than holding them for a bigger amount in future.

It has not been used as a payment method yet. I have not seen where it is, I buy it online, but even though I have the option of BTC I will not do it. I think now that BTC has more value as a trading asset or just investing instead of using it as a trading coin, confirmation of BTC as a transaction is slow and inappropriate.

there are many users of bitcoin that they used only to pay online to order and shopping online. but for the others like me i use it as my salary or my allowance because bitcoin for me is a money and i admit that i am not rich that's why i used bitcoin for earnings. so everytime that i hear that the bitcoin is only for online shopping and not for earnings. hello! bitcoin is made by used to everyone and its up on us how it be used as long as the bitcoin is used for the good things nothing bad for it. unlike to the bad people who used bitcoin to crime activities. they used bitcoin to bad and now the bitcoin's image is affected.

not yet, but if u want to use bitcoin on paying online,  u can use it directly.
For the reason, bitcoin have been praised all over the work and it is making transactions fast and furious. Bitcoin have been making progress in this field and a time will come when every online element is associated with bitcoin and you can easily buy and sell online just using bitcoin. You wouldn’t be going for such conversions and paying heavy fees. Just swap the bitcoin card.

I personally don’t use it as I belong to a third world country and I am only a participant in signature campaign but I am looking much more people who are paying bitcoin for online shopping as well as for the purpose of paying school fees which is very much appreciable for myself.
This is a problem that in under developed and developing countries, bitcoin is not much common. Moreover this countries have many issues to be resolved before making these currencies common especially bitcoin. I am also from developing country and here only limited people know about bitcoin and in this way, they are really making good money with bitcoin. People from developed world are using it commonly.

I got your point and I quite agreee with you. It's cheaper and faster to use the rCrypto instead BTC to buy online cause you do not have to wait the block to the approved after 15/20 min ad proceed to have what you bought.
Unfortunately for many people it is seen too much like form of investment so they can not spend it to buy thing but only for trading.

We definitely hope so, cause we can no longer pay such an high fees compared to the other cryptos and still wait for so long before be approved. Think about what it is right now when you pay with credit cards: it only takes seconds. And for merchants it's trusted because they can be anyway pay even something will go wrong after the payment.
We need a solution right now, otherwise BTC will not be see anymore as a form of payment but only investment

I never use bitcoin to pay online, this is because there are still not many online stores in my country that receive bitcoin, most still using bank transfer or paypal. I hope someday more and more online stores will receive bitcoins.

Well I guess it is much faster than paying falling in line. Paying through online using bitcoin is of course could less your effort, less wasting time travelling to the department store just to pay bills or anything. When it comes to connection well I guess its all up to your internet connection, the problem is in your connection not in bitcoin itself.

Main three reasons that make many only hold bitcoin

price changes fast (it is change every hour), fee (you can send it with 1$ and next day 10$) and few trust sites accept bitcoin

Even if you pay online with your credit card or whatever is the same. That is not the point. Of course you could save time, money and so on doing shopping online - but here we talk about using BTC instead classic gateaways
