If they don't accept full escrow this is very likely to be a scam.

I ordered 3 units but have not received an email yet with instructions on making my deposit payment.

One way to alleviate concerns would be to post a copy of your orders for Avalon chips including dates.

Someone informed me via PM that I was accepted as one of the people from the community to verify the authenticity of these units when they become available.

I am happy to post pictures and write up a report and review of this product if/when something is shipped out, but have received no official communication at this time.

Looking forward to keeping tabs on this project. It's great the see the all this competition entering the marketplace, and unfortunate we need to remain mindful of and vigilant against dishonest actors.

Good to see HashTech being open and responsive to the community so far.

I too would like to see these Avalon chip orders. That makes several of us asking.

What is the purpose of a 1 BTC deposit?

If you produce the product as promised, you can sell as many as you can produce for more than you're asking, so that's not it.

Is the deposit because you need the equivalent of $5,000 USD to fund this?   It seems your startup expenses will far exceed this amount.  In fact, it seems your expenses will far exceed your total revenue for 50 units at 8.99 BTC.

Not making much sense as a legitimate business...

Why is it that all these offers are always just on the verge of (but not actually) posting incontrovertible proof when they ask for funds?

I lol'd: The subject of the confirmation email - "varify and activate your Hashtech account"
The email is signed: "From The Hastech Team".

Not very professional guys. Seems like everything was quite rushed.

Yes, actually. 38 units available also conflicts with the previous statement that 14 units had been deposited on. OP has some 'splainin' to do.

Nope not feeling it

And yet, there are many of this services already sold.
So, yes, I will not be convinced with this until I see some of the "test units" shipped and working but I can't start pointing something without proof.
If you're not convinced at least stay quiet until some proof starts to show, is the same problem I have, It's hard to trust in someone behind a screen.

By the way, I'm not supporting this in any way, I have my own projects in here, I'm just trying to point something very common in this community.
