Looks like a good project since I am interested about mining lately. I'd like to mine but gpu mining is quite expensive so I am glad there's an alternative which is PoW. I'll read more of this and hope if I participate won't strain my CPU much while mining. I do hope this project makes it to the market so that it'll benefit everyone especially African people. I also like how the dev responds quickly to all of the inquiries makes me think that this project can really be trusted and would be worth the time spent.

I truly want to thank this team for taking this initiative of introducing something like this to developing countries. Indeed not only IT but Crypto exposure of booming sector now. I personally hare banks and want to have control over my funds. Crypto is the future of all savings and investment. I understand this is a volatile market but then if we spend sometime to understand how this works, I am sure all of us can make some profits.

This also gives people an opportunity for financial freedom. Thank you once again for all your efforts.

Good Luck and I shall closely track this project.

Hi,

Thank you for the great feedback!

It's members like you that will ultimately help make this project a success.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the new downloadable wallet. We are introducing QR codes and new wallet branding.

Thank you for the amazing feedback!

We are working hard on building a strong community and the support has been great thus far.

We focused on making mining more accessible and efficient, and you can be rest assured that it won't put a lot of strain on your CPU. We will soon be launching integrated wallet mining, which should make things even easier since it won't require you to run mining operations through the daemon.

Also, keep an eye out for the release of the new wallet later today. We have added QR support and added the new branding.

dev ,what's algo of your coin , and any official pool here? when will hit exchange market ,any plan?

Hi,

Our block creation algo was created by our head developer. It automatically adjusts each new block size depending on previous block height. This ensures that confirmations are confirmed within our 90 seconds timeframe.

No official mining pool yet. Will keep you updated on further developments.

We are in discussion with HitBTC to list on their exchange first.

Best,

Any news on getting listed on exchanges?

CPU mining costs you more money than you will earn. The dev is a retard for not telling you this and acting like he made the coin cpu mine able friendly for his amazing users when he did not.

He just copied the source code from another coin. He did nothing special for you.

This coin will not benefit people from Africa just because the dev roleplays he is form Africa.

Why are you Africans so amazingly dumb?

I suggest you do some research before trolling this forum. You clearly lack hobbies.

We used cryptonote technology (same tech used by Monero), which is open source and the whole purpose of decentralzation. What is your point? Do you have any proof that we copied code from any other coin?

We actually don’t need to do any roleplaying.. The team is based in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.

“Why are you Africans so amazingly dumb?” - This speaks for itself, and clearly shows your maturity level.

It’s sad that people like you are bringing down the bitcointalk community.

It's sad that every African coin so far is an internet cafe scam. This is the reality. The devs even lie about this being the first coin while it's not.

(We do had Kruger coin that was successful and good but this coin was not made in Africa)

Prove me wrong.

It's sad that you report posts for an opinion and that you clearly accept lies from devs (or if you are a dev it's sad that you spread lies) who use "the poor people from Africa" as a selling point. They give false hope to poor people who can not afford to buy a pc to mine or who can not afford to buy a laptop to store their coins on. (they can't even buy coins ffs).

It would be fair if the devs organized a real airdrop for the locals with lots of proof that they actually spread the coins fairly over the poor people so they can benefit really from this, so far the only people who benefit from this are rich people.

You are quick to judge a project without even knowing whether the intentions are good or not.

You probably didn’t even try the wallet or mining. You would have quickly realized that it’s possible to mine with entry level laptops. That’s what’s so great about this.

Also, the majority of people in Africa actually have access to mobile phones and laptops, even if poverty is a harsh reality. You clearly know very little about this continent. It’s up and coming technology wise. We never even mentioned anything about “poor people in Africa”, so not playing that card.

This coin was made in Africa. I don’t know where you get your information. South Africa is the southern most country in Africa, in case you didn’t know.

If you don’t like the project, move on to something else.

Hi,

I too can vouch for the mining of this coin.
I currently have just over 1000 coins mined by a old core 2 duo desktop pc that a business discarded many years ago, it even had XP on it. I simply upgraded to Win 7, downloaded wallet, and started mining with 2 threads.

As for the value of those coins, who knows.
I see so many scam coins every single day, but i actually mine all of them because completely out of the blue 1 of them ends up on an exchange at 1 sat, and then 1 week later i get an email saying they are at 18,000 sats, and by the time i get to the exchange they are 20,000 sats (it actually rose to 35,000 before dropping to 300)....that is the completely random nature of crypto coins....it is all luck and a massive gamble...if you want safety, use a bank and a Casino.

I for one will keep on with all these new coins, and cross my fingers, and wish them all well.
To the future Smiley

A very interesting project, but do not you think that you will meet resistance from local authorities? Because their currency is important to them.

THIS dude has been trolling most/any thing to do with "Africa" claiming he "knows" most Africans are scammers etc etc when clearly he is sticking his hand in the dark with the racist, immature comments... please just ignore this guy. I hope his account gets banned! he has done the same on my posts. instead of criticizing/trolling , try to achieve a goal with your life instead of being a keyboard warrior, scumbag.

A very interesting project, but do not you think that you will meet resistance from local authorities? Because their currency is important to them.

There will be resistance like with anything new. Bitcoin had the same problem for a long time (Still have in many instances).

The idea is to have UNA serve as a store of value initially, and then later to start building partnerships with banks so that UNA can be used as a method of exchange.

Mpesa is a popular method of payment in many African countries. It's basically mobile money, but not crypto, and has been widely adopted. This shows that African countries are open to new financial advancements.

Have you backed up your wallet? If so, you can just copy and paste the backup file in the Una install folder.
