Added mtgox engine lag notification. If it's above 1 second there's a small info box below the price informing how high it is.

I'm a n00b at trading but do you know what would be awesomely usefull?

If there was a box to enter the amount you want to trade in BTC or Fiat and it would work out the transaction fee for you like 0.6% so you could  see the current bid / sell price - transaction fee.

Anyway it looks sick its bookmarked :-)

WOW - this is awesome!

Would be really cool if you could see the BTC/USD exchange rate from all of the big exchanges on the same screen. Now that would make it ridiculously awesome Smiley

Really love your tool - very clean and efficient.

One more idea: the volume bars "just" show total trade volume. If would be awesome to distinguish between buy and sell volume - maybe by coloring a percentage of the bar in red?

I find distinguishing between buy and sell in volume arbitrary. If there were 100 bitcoins traded at the given price, then somebody bought, and somebody sold. Some sites color volume bars based on if price went up or down, but it's very  misleading in my opinion. But I'm open to new ideas so I'm happy to listen and if more people are willing to convince me towards this I may add such feature.

HI, site in my signature solves exactly this problem. It separates not only order book bids and asks, but also trades.

Interesting choice of CSS styling on your Order Book, by the way  Wink

Yep, Genuise and I were too eager to show off a prototype. Our priority was to show the data of minor exchanges to the community. We will replace it with original artwork before lifting the beta badge.

I really love the styling on the site! And how do you pay for everything without any ads or a subscription model? I'd gladly pay for a standalone version (a gnome js app would be incredible) -- until then, I'll just send you a tip.

A couple suggestions (that Clark Moody does well):
  • Sound alerts for big price moves / order sizes.
  • A dynamic order book.

Sound alerts are coming, we'll see about dynamic order book.

I pay from my own pocket, currently with 1k+ users connected at the same time pushing data is becoming a bit more expensive, but I don't like ads.

cowboy +1 for not adding ads

No a huge fan of the all time high noticification as it seems to just sit there often and not really update. It should work like the following. Get mtgox all time high and then save it. when it goes over that threshold it pops up and says ALL TIME HIGH. After it is over lets just say 49$ was the all time high that was broke and only display it a max of 5 seconds. just cause like last night when the price was sky rocketing it just basically stayed on the screen and got annoying
