Has anybody else noticed that the depth chart has been quirky/wrong for the last few days?

Yes seeing the same thing here. Market depth has been quite broken the past few days. Like it's missing data or something.

Just wanted to say thank you. I realized I have been using this website for so long without actually knowing when I started and it has been nothing but helpful for me.

Just in case no one has noticed, but the bitcoinity site is having problems...looks like the CSS and JS are no longer there?

I can't reproduce. Does anyone else can? And what browser/OS is this happening on?

hmmm bit confused here. how is it possible that OK Coin has less volume in the last 6 months, than the last 30 days?

https://bitcoinity.org/markets/list?currency=ALL&span=6m
 okcoin   279,155   BTC (6m volume)

https://bitcoinity.org/markets/list?currency=ALL&span=30d
okcoin   1,078,781 BTC (30 day volume)

6m is 1,180,760
30d is 1,086,843

It's not much higher because I only have their data  from the last month. I guess  it's possible you saw some version with a cache still back from the import time, it seems 6m total volume cache expiration time is as high as 5 days, I'll fix that to make this period shorter.

Yes seeing the same thing here. Market depth has been quite broken the past few days. Like it's missing data or something.
it looks like a deliberate attempt to affect market price. it works like this: site owner chooses if he wants to drive the price up or down. if he chooses up, then some fake buy orders are placed near current price and real sell order near current price are gradually removed.

yesterday it was set to drive up, now its set to drive down. here is a screenshot picturing removal of real orders (the flat green line, the step around 613 is a fresh order and it was removed a few seconds after taking this screenshot):

now bitcoinwisdom.com for comparison:

next time i see fake orders im gonna take a screenshot too.

I highly doubt this is deliberate. Interfacing with exchange APIs is difficult; if even the slightest thing changes somewhere between the exchange and the Bitcoinity server, then things can break.

Then go make one and 'eff off, you whiner.

You've got a lot of nerve complaining about something that costs you nothing, you know.

I'm sorry, I just hope that could make a little change in his power and make the site look more tidy. don't you think that market is a bit chaotic, and this only need to add some frame or collage that can achieve the goals.

So, you have some nebulous "change" that should make things "look more tidy", but fail to point out what that would be, how to achieve it, what the actual cost in time it could take for any kind of alteration - not to mention disregard for those that think the current minimalist design is PERFECT for large screens AND mobile.

I think his goal is achieved, and vague suggestions aren't a help at all...

The OP is clearly outdated, but the site isn't. This is by far the BEST live price chart I've used.

ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.
