It seems like nobody is willing to borrow BTC at the FRR. I have an order since yesterday. Those willing to borrow are paying much less than the FRR.

Hi,
Could you please help answer a question for me: is there any Demo/UAT environment on Bitfinex when you can try some test scenarios? Sorry if this was already asked, but its a very long thread.

Not that I know of, but typically you can put in some relatively small amounts for trading/lending/orders.

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

Thank you, it would be a nice feature that other exchanges already provide.

Hello guys,

As many have noticed, nobody received swaps interests on time tonight. They are just been credited as I wrote this post now.

No interests are lost, the interests credited now include the last few hours of today, and tonight you will receive your daily interests minus those few hours already credited.

My apologies for this delay. For the curious, let's just say the server on which these interests payments are launched is a bit overloaded and missed his "time window" for interests payment. A new server is already ordered and due for the end of the week Smiley

Have a good day
Raphael
Bitfinex team

I did received payment today, but it is quite low compare to what I am suppose to get.

We will be adding additional hashing capacity to TH1, increasing it to a total of 300 THS (terahashes per second) in an effort provide greater liquidity and enhance price discovery in both the exchange and swaps market. The additional capacity will be added immediately after the next block after #321969 is mined.

TH1 bid wall has 117 demand at 1.15 BTC - so will they sell into that?

Who are these crazy people buying over-priced mining contracts that are only worth 0.9-0.95 BTC?

Hi guys,

I just wanted to stop by to talk about the lag that some of you may have experienced.

Yesterday we experienced some lag during a period of high volume. Normally, we have been able to handle volume of this size without too much trouble, and we are investigating why we weren't able to do so yesterday. We are constantly working to improve our platform, and we have been growing rapidly. Believe me, your complaints are being heard and being worked on. but I ask that you please bear with us while we experience some of these growing pains. We are currently working on a major upgrade which should resolve any of these issues, and in the meantime, we are trying to improve performance with the current system.

Once again, we are very sorry for any inconvenience.

after liqudation market will buy all TH1 contract for very high prize from this one person (becouse anyone else can sell th1 without any swap, only him with all th1 or 90 % of them)
i just asking what is protection before that becouse now i see ridicious prize 1.3 on th1 and huge fake buy walls, people dont have enought swap to sell into this walls

As a shorter, would like to show concern to BFX on this too.

EDIT
After a sencond thougt, there is currently an non-effective mechenism to prent, which is adding new THS to the market. Also this action is done without prior notice. With the risk that the malicious actor have to bear it would be irrational to do it.
EDIT: and their reaction is FRIGGIN slow.

Um, I sent ~2 BTC from my wallet to bitfinex, several hours ago. How long does it take till they appear in the wallet I sent them to (I sent them to the "desposit" wallet). Thanks.

Edit: It arrived. Smiley took about 9 hours or so.
