Hello, since the ETH pumps a lot recently, I am just curious that what will be the ICO price since it will be calculated with ETH.

ICO price is fixed $0.50 for one SIG. So with high ETH price we will be able to buy more tokens for 1 ether.

That is great. I can see many ICO projects use ETH to calculate their soft cap and hard cap. It will be much big if the ETH pumps a lot.

Ok, wait a second. On https://www.spectivvr.com/ it states:

SIGs will be sold at a fixed price of 650 Sigs/Eth each.

In the whitepeper I translated it says:

SIGs will be valued at a fixed price of $0.50 each.

And now I see that whitepaper was edited to 650 SIGS (but still version 1.0) and you haven't even changed the calculations.


Or is 1 ETH now worth $25?

@SpectivVR Why the last minute changes without any notice? It completely changes the price of SIG. Right now, with ETH worth $430 the price of 1 SIG would be $0.66, and till 8th Dec ETH may be worth $500 again, for all we know.

We have changed the price to be based on ETH for security and simplicity of the smart contract and token sale. Basing the price in USD adds an extra layer of friction where we have to feed a USD price to the smart contract for conversion. If this feed malfunctions at all though, the token sale will have issues. So, we are valuing the Sigs against ETH now. With that said, we are actually planning to announce the final price for the token sale on the day of the token sale. Basically whatever the price of Eth is on that day, we will multiply that by 2 and that will be the price of tokens. If Eth is $500 on the day of token sale, then the price will be 1000 Sigs/Eth ($.50). This price will be the final price. We do need to update the whitepaper to reflect this now.

OK, sounds reasonable, so the ETH price will be locked (on 1st day of sale) for the entire duration of the ICO, right?

We did an early supporter sale which ended September 4th. Since then, we have been developing the VR/360 platform and the Token Protocol Alpha so that we have the token utility available at distribution. Our ICO starts December 8th, but if you sign up your email on our site www.spectivvr.com you will be able to access the token sale starting Dec. 5th.

Thank you for your answers, I think it is not easy to balance all the investors in different periods. The ETH has pumps a lot. The dev team should try your best to do that. I think this method is the best.
