Descent or not, hard to tell, but official list at moment is:
https://bitcoingold.org/

Or check fresh info on: https://bitcoin-gold.slack.com/messages/C6Z40G6E7/
Be warned, use only listed as official.

Hurry up, about 2,5 hours since real mining is starting.  Wink

Is there any open market to sell my coins right away?

Check a list and trade:
https://bitcoingold.org/

Since price is going up and down, check before you sell, so you can make more $.

The developers said we have to create a new wallet address on Coinomi   (or wherever ) after the blockchain is created in a few hours.  So the current coinomi address for bitcoin cash that you have right now will not work.

I'd just suggest using Coinomi and sending your coins there. It's not the most secure thing in the world but for temporary mining use it'll work, just make sure you use a secure password and you won't have any problems.

From my understanding you can just generate a wallet address (right now) with set of keys and send your coins there. After starting mainnet you can synchronize your wallet and import your keys.

Still how many blocks ?
How do you know the current block number (the official explorer doesn't have it because blockchain is syncing).

My favorite faucets to earn real free bitcoins/satoshis : Moon BitCoin and Bit Fun.
You want some free AltCoins ? It's here : BCH (Bitcoin Cash) Moon BitCoinCash - DASH (Dash) Moon Dash - DOGE (DogeCoin) Moon DogeCoin - LTC (LiteCoin) Moon LiteCoin.
You want some free LBC (Lbry Credits) ? My LBC invite : Lbry.tv - LBC (Lbry Credits).

Yeah the block explorer doesn't work. Just my theory but they probably left it this way so people will already start mining not knowing that no mining rewards will be given until the devs make money of their silly little project. Extremely unprofessional is how these people work. A delayed launch, a large amount of premine, who knows what they will do next. One thing is for sure, this coin will be going down. It will be worth nothing.

The 1060 owns the 1070 in terms of watts per hash/s

Cheaper also.
