Silverwolf's ARG pool is still fully operational as well. http://swmining.mine.nu/arg1% Fee Dynamic PPLNS For Fast Ramp-up PPLNS Status Display for transparency. Accurate Payouts Tx Fees to Miners 30 Confirms Required for block payouts. Miners have been coming and going since there hasn't been much going on with ARG, hopefully it will pickup now !

Not sure about p2pool's, but http://arg.scryptmining.com has a current reject rate of 0.7% though if you wanted to try something new

Can we please get a paper wallet for ARG? Not sure what the demand is for that, even the DGC one is barely used.

ARG retargets really fast guys so it makes sense to leave miners on it even at retarget. Because like now, it will be close to 400% profitability often.

So is ARG competing with DGC?
It's an alliance not a competition. I'm developing services for both and so are others in the community.

So is ARG competing with DGC?
DGC and ARG are sister currencies designed for different purposes. Think of it this way: ARG is your savings account (slower transfers, but maximum security), whereas DGC is your checking account (ultra-fast transfers ideal for point of sale transactions).

Honestly, With block reward of 1-5 a 200k premine is fucking hilarious. It makes ever premine so far seem like chicken feed. Hell 200k @ 2.5 avg block reward is the same as almost 20 MILLiON premine of FTC.. Why do people not learn not to be so fucking greedy that they kill coins before they are even launched.
What are you gonna do with the premine? You going to offer a 10,000 block equivalent for a faucet and some shit exchange? What a fucking joke.
"No coin will be sold" oh, so the what, 50k coins that go to some shitty online casino hack will not be dumped? Yeah, sure..
Mincoin was worse, and IDGAF if you want to argue all day that Mincoin wasnt a premine.. I dont actually care because it doesnt matter if you have a premine or superblocks at the start... a select few got a LOT of mincoin at the beginning.. i dont care if it was the OP or not. Superblocks are much worse than premining to pay bounties as long as you actually pay bounties. And I dont think he was trying to say that the coins would NEVER be sold EVER... he was more or less inferring that he will not sell the coins personally. Not claiming that this is correct or honest, because I don't know.. just pointing out theres much worse premine/superblock coins out there with Mincoin being the most obvious. Anyone else? -5mil

You guys do realize that any one with a decent sized GPU farm could 51% ARG at this point. I myself have 1.7x the current network hashrate with what I have laying around (currently 21MH according to http://arg.epools.org/). Not that I ever would want to do that.

Such a person could also just join the hashing and make much better profits

Good time to get some ARG. I am dedicated to making it a success with the same services as DGC.
