You can use BTC as legally as you can use it illegally. It all comes down to personal decision. For now, though, a lot of merchants and business are not accepting BTC as standard form of payment, so they use PP or FIAT cash.

I did not try to use Bitcoin in illegal staff.I think Bitcoin is a currency not use for illegal staff.I always used my BTC for very personal such as financially i support my family by Bitcoin,my study cost provide by Bitcoin & online shopping is by Bitcoin.

In those countries where bitcoin is illegal, crimes do exist there, smuggling drugs usage and black money transferring do exist, so it does not depend on bitcoin it depends on our mentality, these are we humans who are responsible for crimes and the currency, even in other regular currencies crimes are committed, so we all need to educate our minds properly.

I think that's already part of the options and ideas some dark minded people have on their list on how to gain money. It may also be a mover to do bad things through hacking or scamming people. There has been numerous news of managers and companies taking advantage of people through their ICOs. It's not really surprising anymore why some people think of cryptocurrency as something that's illegal.

Its just sad to put everything on bitcoin though. Its the widely used cryptocurrency and the first to gain a wide range of audience including criminals. But the design of bitcoin is not anonymous, hence they can still go after you and track everything. Monero is now the best anonymous coins, although its not as popular as bitcoin because it focuses more on privacy but it should be the logical choice for criminals who want to buy illegal items underground.

Bitcoin is good for money transaction and for getting some knowledge like here in forum but there's a lot of person that use bitcoin to create a pshing site or they scam other with using bitcoin as a scam tools i think that is the dark side of bitcoin,we can avoid to being scam by just search if the person is trusted or their site is trusted

Of course not, I am using bitcoin for a good purpose. But I have read articles and/or discussing about bitcoin being used in illegal things, such as buying drugs, playing illegal games, buying unlicensed armors and others. This is such a disappointment to anyone who use bitcoin for a good purpose. Many of people goes to bitcoin to get jobs, to earn money, to invest and others and not for negative use, there may be some of these bad people who are in desperate to do their crimes, in which they've learned bitcoin and use for their crime. This thing may be one of the reasons why other countries banned bitcoin. And sooner or later if government will new all these illegal transaction using bitcoin, there maybe a chance of getting it banned in the whole world.

Why are you talking only about bitcoin? What you never heard about this phenomenon as the failure of banks and various funds. They only work with Fiat. This does not prevent them to conduct fraudulent activity. Any currency is only a tool in the hands of fraudsters. It's silly to blame it on bitcoin.

That's why government play an important role in order to protect people from it.
My government still not legalize bitcoin because of this reason especially when my people still prefer to purchase drugs anonymously and bitcoin can be use for this advantage

Bitcoin can be use to buy illegal stuff but I choose not to because I don't want to get involved in something illegal. It is not only bitcoin that can be use to buy something illegal because anything that both parties (buyer and seller) agreed upon as payment option can be use whether it is fiat, precious metals or even barter of stuffs. Bitcoin is preferred by some because of its anonymity but cash transactions can have anonymity as well. Bitcoin has been existing for 9 years but illegal activities are happening since time immemorial so any payment option can be use.

I prefer to buy things that I need in cash simply because I perceived bitcoin as investment not as a currency and the limited merchants as well prevents me from spending it. The transaction fee is a hindrance as well when using bitcoin in small value transactions so as much as possible, I limit the transfer of bitcoin.

I don't use bitcoin to buy illegal stuff because I am too afraid of the law and I don't want to break the law. in the past, I usually buy something on the internet using paypal and fortunately, my paypal account is verified so I can easily buy and pay with paypal. I am not familiar with payeer or else but in real life, I usually used cash to pay or buy something.

I don't use bitcoin to buy illegal stuff because I am too afraid of the law and I don't want to break the law. in the past, I usually buy something on the internet using paypal and fortunately, my paypal account is verified so I can easily buy and pay with paypal. I am not familiar with payeer or else but in real life, I usually used cash to pay or buy something.

I supposed that nobody in this thread will write the truth, it is stupid to write here something like "yes, I have used bitcoin for illegal things", am I wrong?
I also feel fear towards the government about any use of crypto currencies, but for now my country (Russia) still didn't take the final decision about crypto currencies, so I am using it freely, but I am impatient what kind of the law is going to be in the end. But I don't doubt there are people who take a risk and do or buy illegal things with crypto currencies with the hope the law will not touch them, maybe for now it works, but I don't think it is going to be so for long.

It only comes down to only one thing-conscience. If you are a good person who handles things responsibly,takes care of family, earns to make them happy and satisfied, then probably you wont misuse not just bitcoins but any other form of money as well.  . Just like any other game this has also its own rules. So it all depends on you whether you want to actually follow them or not. Personally I feel that is our moral responsibility to put bitcoins to  good use unless you want to be known as a notorious gangster or as some kind of a whacko-choice is all yours...
