There are ways of risk mitigation; I'd have to do Google Translate on the German and see what comes out, to see what he did.

CCTV and unarmed bystanders in public will not save you.

If you can be armed, do the TX in your home - you have the best chance at having your use of force being found justified legally if you are in your castle and a criminal enters it with clear intent to commit a crime within. If you can't be armed yourself, do the TX past metal detectors, armed guards, x-ray machines - courthouses, police stations, banks, jewelry stores are some examples.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

That is why you meet in a public place...

No. That is why you call guys like me or others who are willing to attend these meetings. People who have years of martial arts experience, people who have worked the door.

If you want such a meeting, just walk over to the next night club and ask the hugest guy over there if he was to help you out with this. Give him 50 bucks for every 1000 you have. Get a 2m high, 2m wide guy with you or at best, two of them, and everything is fine. In the US, take the guys that are armed.

I mean, seriously, these are cash transfers. What the fuck?

Well what happens when the guy you hired to protect you decides he'd like the full $1000 rather than the $50?  Wink

It can't be so coincidental, I won't believe till I see the police report.

Yeah, good plan.

You dont even need a report, you can, in germany, just walk in and file. You get a receipt of filing.

Unfortunately, if you aren't in the position of being a good target of being beaten up, you are still an awesome target to get pickpocketed. Even in front of cameras. Couldn't believe the videos...
