Google office in Pakistan:

Well i know this is a good development as if they are moving to their central services operated in Pakistan by local. But i am not sure about their employment as if the employees are going to be Pakistani then its good for our country as our unemployed community can grab this opportunity but still, i am in doubt that are they preferring Pakistanis or foreign employees.

Bilkul achi news but unfortunately ye development office nahi hoga but mostly marketing and corporate clients like in the news they said "liaison office" which means like communication channel between corporate sector and head-office.

I know one guy Badar Khushnood he has been Google Representative and Country Consultant for Pakistan for long time and I met him in some conferences too.

Jab bhi aisi koi news aati muje Musharaf yad aa jata hia... he gave boost IT and aur tab Microsoft apna development office Pakistan main kholane par bahot sanjeeda tha... likan phir.... Mushraf k jate jate Pakistan ki ainat se ainat baj gai...ab ap dosh Mushraf ko dein, Army ko, politician ko ya phir ham khud... but since then we never to rose to power again.

Exactly this is what I wrote earlier. Issue is bre Technology companies just apna sales office open krte hn Pakistan ma. Hman chahy ky apna setup aisa bnyn ky bre companies apna development aur R and D centers Pakistan ma move krn. Jaisa ky in companies na India ma kea hua hy. For that we need a team of IT experts plus jo mulk ka saath sincere hn na ky just apna assets barhna ma interested hn. Last ten years ma jin companies na sub sa zayda grow kea hy wo technology sa related hn like Amazon, Microsoft, Google. Agr hum is sector ko seriously lyn to hmare economy kafi behtr ho saqti hy.

Ya no doubt eik boht bare news hy. Umeed krtya hn ky ya development offices hn gy Google aur Tik Tok ky na ky just Sales offices, jaisa ky dosre companies like Microsoft na khola hua hn Pakistan ma.
