Today i think we should discuss the Balochistan crisis and its impact on our national development as well as on our foreign policy. The Balochistan crisis are not only due to some specific reasons, there are multiple factors that are playing significant role in this regard. Balochistan comprises approximately 40% land of Pakistan, but unfortunately the people of this land have been deprived from their basic facilities since 1950s due to some political and governance crisis. The major wave of insurgency has spreaded out geographically in this region after Bughti's death. Unfortunately, our governent always use kinetic means to overcome the increasing trend of insurgency in this region instead of addressing their grievances. The people of Balochistan are deprived from the basic necessities of life including education, electricity and especially sui gas, while all the major resources of electricity, gas, coal, and minerals have been extracted out from this region since our inception.

Pakistan needs to address the grievances of this provinces through non kinetic means because the already used kinetic operations by government did not provide any successful outcomes except more militant activities by rebell group. Additionally, the baloch insurgency has direct impact on our foreign policy. It is providing more strength to non state actors( fitna al khawarij) especially to India.
