I saw several shops in which you could pay with crypto currency, I did not try it myself, but I saw how others did it! But it was not bitcoin! Whether there are places where it is possible to pay off bitcoin I have not seen, but I think in the future it will be almost everywhere!BTCBTCBTC

It can be possible to use Bitcoin like offline currency. The solution would be, not to transfer the Bitcoins but to handover wallets with predifined funds. But there must be solved one problem: You need a centralized service, which provides certificates and encryptes private keys.
If it have a centralized service, which provides certificates and encryptes private keys, you still need internet to connect and confirm transaction, so i think Bitcoin is not possible to use bitcoin like offline currency because it's just digital money and if it need have internet to able to work. It's too hard to using it like physical money in the life.
No matter which kind of service you do have or you get the things which you want to have, even then there will one thing which you will needing in all the cases and that is having a facility of an internet. If you lack this, then you will not be able to do anything related to that of crypto currencies. There is a difference between crypto coins and other regular currencies and they cannot be treated in a similar fashion.

this is not possible because this is decentralized and Digital currency no body can hold it people are doing mining investment that is possible through by internet only so there is lot of things like that may be in future can do anything where people can take advantage from it will be easy to use it.

Yes you are right bitcoin cannot be used as an offline currencies because it is an online crypto currency so you will not convert as normal paper currency if you want to use the only way is to exchange bitcoin as your home country currency . In future it may be possible it will very useful for bitcoin users .
Yes it may not be possible to use bitcoin as online currency, but still we can use it for shopping in offline shops, which only available for local people to facilitate them. Although in current time such shops will be very limited and may be present in some developed and modern countries, but with the passage of time we can expect that it will even become possible in backward countries.

Using of bitcoin similar to offline currency is impossible, because each and everything happening in terms of transaction and other processes were entirely dependent on internet connectivity. Maybe when the adoption takes place in large scale we can expect such offline usage getting into effect.

I don’t think that it’s possible to use bitcoin offline. First of all bitcoin is a digital currency and basically having internet connection is the only possible way to access bitcoin.  You have to be online for you to make faster transactions using crypto currency or bitcoin.
No doubt bitcoin is the digital currency and it can be use as online for internet access because using bitcoin needs many tools like bitcoin gadgets and intranet and electricity. They call it as digital currency so digital means something related to internet and internet is all based on electricity now! We are using it only way of online not the off line right now but maybe in future they will find some way to use it offline as well.

Neither there is any such methodology developed so far nor are the chances that such kind of thing will happen in the days to come which can help us in using any of the crypto currency just like that of offline currencies or other regular currencies.

The thing is the main thing which we need to have with ourselves when it comes to that of performing any kind of transaction with any of the crypto coin, that is internet and it is impossible to do anything without internet connection.

Few days ago a friend asked me this questions. But i cannot understanding that how to i give him answer. At last i said him that, bitcoin is an online currency. Only this currency used in online marketplaces. It is not possible to use it in offline marketplace like offline currency.

But what is your best answer of this question?
Well bitcoin is a digital currency so it cannot be use like fiat money. One of the difference of fiat and bitcoin currency is that fiat can both have digital and physical form(coins and banknotes) while bitcoin doesn't have a physical form. Another way to say digital currency is electronic currency. So it can only be use if you have an internet connection.

Bitcoin as of now, is an online currency. There could be an offline version in the future that would require it to be associated with the blockchain somehow.

A straight and simple definition of Bitcoin is– digital money. When it’s called digital money, that means it function online and when it functions online, that means it can’t be used offline. Lol. So don’t expect to use bitcoin offline, cause it can’t be used like all these offline currencies you see.

For you to use Bitcoin, you will need an electronic device and the recipient will also need the same to be able to receive. But offline don’t need such.

my answer will: No it isn't . Bitcoin was born to make the transaction faster, more convenient, the transaction between countries far from the world is also fast with low fees. It is different from paper money or gold and has not been widely used arbitrarily, most governments do not accept bitcoin, for that reason bitcoin can only work when it is online currency.

I would never ever trust something like that personally -- I just trust on my own cold wallets, and that's really it.It will not work out well when it comes to being a viable option for mass use. Everything you do will all come down to you exchanging private keys, and for that reason it will always be based on trust. If we browse through this thread, then we'll see that someone came up with something similar to what you're talking about (Google opendime) and despite them stating that it's 'bullet proof', I am not exactly sure how well it works out in reality.

I don't think bitcoin can be used as an offline currency because we all know bitcoin was created through internet by the use of blockchain. But if there's a development in the future that bitcoin can be run offline, then probably it will be used but as of today's era, it is impossible to utilize bitcoin without internet that's why it is called a digital currency.

Our offline curreny or our local money, our traditional money used to buy goods and services differs from what we earn here in bitcoin, here we earn coins and tokens these are cryptocurreny. Cryptocurreny are used in online market and function closely related to our local money or offline money. Although they have same functions they are used differently. Bitcoin cannot be used in offline market for now since no business used cyptocurrency for the means of payment.

For me is not bitcoin cannot transfer offline to another account. Bitcoin was an online currency therefore, it is just only for online transaction. We couldn't access bitcoin without internet connection and this is one of the most important because this is the admission in order to make transaction. Perhaps, there wil be a way in the future to used bitcoin in offline marketplace.

It depends on what do you mean, if you mean to use bitcoin everywhere similar to the way you use fiat then that is going to be possible in the future when the LN is working however if you mean using bitcoin without the internet that is going to be next to impossible we need the internet so the miners know about your transactions and can confirm it in a block.

As what i have read about bitcoin and cryptos, they share this very common disadvantage.
Being offline could not make you any transaction in the blockchain since the blockchain needs to be online for the nodes to be working.

Using of bitcoin like other offline currencies means that you can use bitcoin without even having an internet connection and laptop or anything like that which is definitely not at all possible as these are the most important things which you need to have and without these things, you cannot think of using of bitcoin. Bitcoin is an online currency and it will remain the same in the future as well.
