Hi.
What is the default scan-time when you are mining from the daemon?
12 seconds. Overridable in sldm with --scan-time switch. I hear about scan-time every now and then. What exactly is it? How often the daemon checks the network or something similar? It's how often the miner refreshes to see if the current block has been mined. If your scan time is set to high and you solve the same block after someone solved it then it will be invalid, thus wasting time and power. |

First, create a wallet. Then you can mine it with either miner.bat or daemon.bat file. For miner.bat, you need to edit the file to replace the address already inside with your address. I prefer mining through the daemon using the following steps: - Run daemon.bat
- Once it is synced, enter the following:
start_mining [your_address] [number of threads] - to show the mining hasharate, enter the show_hr command
