What is the default scan-time when you are mining from the daemon?
Where is no - you don't need to scan daemon, you are already inside it  |

is there a step by step to mine?
First, create a wallet. Then you can mine it with either miner.bat or daemon.bat file. For miner.bat, you need to edit the file to replace the address already inside with your address. I prefer mining through the daemon using the following steps: - Run daemon.bat
- Once it is synced, enter the following:
start_mining [your_address] [number of threads] - to show the mining hasharate, enter the show_hr command

How did it fail? Can you be more specific? Is there any error message? And no, there are no minimum requirements. I have heard people mining on old machines. It would be interesting to find out what oldest machine found a block. |
