the coin is still being mined, hence it is costing "someone" in power costs. so the coins must have some worth. when dev implements masternodes, then the coin will be listed again on an exchange.

KMC have old cryptonight algo, when almost all other cryptonight coins goes to fork algo, to asic-resistant versions.
So, owners of cryptonight asics, can easy have a majority amount (51%+) of KMC now.
