Hi, thanks for stopping by! The white paper was created months ago; if you see any specific errors in the comparison chart, please let me know and we will correct as necessary. I'd say that the biggest difference between Narrative and Steemit is that we are very focused on drawing in "non-crypto" people to participate. One lynchpin of our strategy is that we will offer a simple way to get your rewards out in regular money rather than NRVE tokens. While we respect the pioneering work that Steemit has done for social content on the blockchain, we feel that the mechanism for understanding and receiving rewards is rather confusing for "civilians."

We are actually delivering ahead of our original schedule, as the Alpha was never described in the initial roadmap. We were originally going to start with the Beta in Q4 (which is still on track). Look for some exciting announcements in the next couple of weeks regarding our marketing program. Things are about to get busy!
