Is every country really corrupt?

In every country, I believe that there is corruption going on. It will never be gone unless the world is perfect and everyone is.

These countries are not corrupt because the people have very less tolerance for corruption. So the politicians never dare to take bribes or accept commissions. On the other hand, in countries such as Bangladesh, India and Egypt, the corrupt politicians are tolerated and even protected by their respective ethnic or caste groups.

Right. I think every country has a corrupt leader one way or another whether by small means or large scale corruption. Its greed. People kill to have a position in a government. They spend millions to have a seat in congress or senate. I don't think all of then have a noble intention of simply helping out constituents.

There might be governments which are totally corrupt. But in my country, it is not bad and at least some reporters and media are watching over them.

No, not all countries are corrupt. But there are very few of them. In other countries, corruption is very high. And no one can do anything with this.

Nice to hear that the media personal can operate freely in your country. In many of the countries, such as Russia, Saudi Arabia, China, Venezuela.etc, the journalists are frequently kidnapped and killed if they report anything against the powerful members of the society. Even in the developed nations such as Spain and Italy, the journalists face a lot of harassment.

As long as people are greedy and as long as people are in position and power, corruption will never end. Corruption is always present as long as people gain control or power over something. Most politicians are corrupt, because they have power over people and have control because of their positions.

Oh this thread still contiues.. how many times we told you here.. SCANDINAVIAN countries are not corrupted man..............!!! eww.... , In Asia, Japan is almost corrupt less country. Because they are shy to steal public wealth. once they got accusation regarding a robbery , they resign from the post at the first place. In case the court could prove that he stole then that relevant politician , officer suicide himself following ''harakiri''.
But I know some countries politics, if you are corrupted that is the main qualification for politics. such a awful countries..

I think every country has a corrupt official and its something that cannot be avoided. Politics is just the way it is. Politicians are blinded to be corrupt because its easy to falsify documents. There are ways to earn money in politics because of popularity and politicians has control and influence. Once a politician abused his/power, that is the time that he/she will be corrupt because there is no going back. A lot of people will be involved on his doing and the only way to silence them is money. It happens in any country, its just that they are not being caught yet.

In my opinion there is no saint when it comes to corruption. All countries are corrupt, it just differ in level. In some countries, it is usually done underground such that when they are caught, they wil have to face the music but in some other countries corrupt persons walk freely and they are even celebrated.

I am not sure about that. There are countries such as Denmark, Iceland and New Zealand, where the corruption levels are practically zero. For the past many years, none of the government officials have been convicted of taking bribes in these nations. Japan is another country where corruption is close to zero.

I believe that every country has its own imperfection one of it is corruption, there is a corruption in every country it only varies depending on how the government implement anti corruption policy. The more strict the company would be, the lesser the corruption it is.

Yes i understand that majority of the countries at this time are corrupt like my own country but still there are countries that trully loves their citizens and not think of gaining money out if them.

I agree with you ! I think my country is certainly corrupt . I also believe there are countries without corruption , they really love their citizens
