Is every country really corrupt?

I think all country have suffering from corruption by the politicians that they have .some of the politician are corrupt .Corruption is hard to removed from the government and politician .

In my opinion I think some are not. By Looking at the way they handle the government assets I thuink they are all in good hands. From free education to free hospitalization I can say that these countries are brilliant in managing their government money and making the most out of it.

corruption is the main reason why people experience shortage or sometimes leading to poverty. it is by the doings of people in the position. every nation has a corrupt official so i guess every country is corrupt. leaders of those nations has not something to do with it. members sometimes even the lowest position in the government is sometimes corrupting. just like the non-government organizations, barangay officials. if there is not corruption in the country there will be no poor people. and it will lead to the success of ones nation.

I would not go to the extend in saying that corrupt practices are ingrained within the basic human nature. But people with low ethics and morals have a tendency to accept bribes. No amount of education or awareness can eradicate this behavior from these sort of people, as I am witnessing in India on a daily basis.

Agreed, those are exeples are what most countries should aspire to.

I believe that in MOST countries, corruption is real and in effect. It's not because you can't see it, that it doesnt exist. I wouldn't call that straight corruption, but collusion or conflict of interest...

Corruption should always measured in a relative sense. If 1 out of 10,000 government employees take bribes in a particular country, you can't say that it is corrupt. In that case, what is the difference between that country, and some country where 50% of all the government servants are corrupt? For example, you can't say that both Norway and Nigeria are corrupt nations.

Yes almost all countries in world have corruption problem. It is harvested in veins of government in every country. It raise the costs of doing business, so more corrupt countries attract less foreign direct investment, which lowers growth rates and per capita incomes. It indirectly effect financial growth of country.
