glad to have you on board.

Update: Soon we will have 2 mining pools with different locations. One in the US another one based in the EU.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I successfully started up a masternode a few days ago. Rewards are a bit lower until 10 November (from my experience it is 4 - 12 rewards per day). Regular masternode operations is going to start on 10 November to ensure fair start for every MN holder. Frequency of masternode rewards is then expected to rise up.

Correct me, Alqo, if I am wrong  Wink

Is it 4-12 coins a day or 4-12 blocks of 40 coins ?

One MN reward equals 40 ALQO now. It means 4-12 blocks of 40 ALQO.

I still believe that for a successful coin you need dedicated miners, we wanted to go for X11 first, but decided a more environmental friendly algo, which was quark in the end.

Please vote for coinmarkets!  It is not as popular as Yobit but it is trustworthy and a great stepping stone!  Not to mention this allows dedicated and serious hodlers to jump in before the major exchanges.

Vote casted. Yobit it is. Despite occasional support problems, they are best for marketing of the coin (and also deliver the highest volume of given choices).

Love ALQO very, this is the first mining after 5 yrs ago mining Bitcoin.

BTW, I'm from China, do devs need translation into Chinese?

Hey Jason if you could make a Chinese Translation that would help us a lot. But we have nothing we can offer you at the moment, since the alqo team also buys alqo and is mining alqo themselves at the moment.
