It's only advertisement of ICO that doesn't passed their standards which means Biometrids lack something. Although they can still advertise by creating an account and using a bounty program so FB users can share about their development.

If you are really able to provide easy-access API and make a reliable face recognization system, many companies will take advantage of your offer.
Unfortunately, it must take a while, is not easy to develop a system like that.

Such ease-access API requires huge technical scripts, tools group, testers etc all the resources have to take their step forward, dev might be working on this as it really brings business with the companies.

I believe they are working on it, as it would give them oppurtunity to attract some large investors, which are necessary for the platform to thrive well.

Facebook is not the only advertisment platform. Yes It's the most powerful but their are many alternatives out there , besides real investors and projects don't spend their time on facebook to get their decisions from it.

Yeah, there are still many options that this platform can be advertised. Dev must be resourceful so that they can find a way to make this project be more popular.  Ad is one of the many ways on attracting investors so better they have to do something on it.

Not every mobile phone has the ability to do facial recognition, maybe even most mobile phones. Has there been any explanation how they will integrate these types of mobile phone users? Doesn't seem to be able to target a big market?

Yes I agree only some $1000 phones have facial recognition as per today, everyone cannot afford these phones. The project seems really interesting and has a great potential too. It will be nice to see how the developers solve this issue and expand biometrids for a bigger market.

Does facial recognition only requires a simple camera, which can capture a video or does it really need a high-end camera? If they wanna go big, then this platform must run even with the former in order to reach a bigger market.

IMO, all smart phones nowadays are already have a quality camera and I think this will be not a problem for the dev. The only problem that they will face while developing the project is how they will compete with the giant company.

If a phone has a quality camera doesn't meant that it supports facial recognition ! Facial recognition uses a combination of light projectors and sensors to take several images of your facial features which means your phone needs to has those sensors in order to work. Biometrids will not develop the hardware, they only developing the software.

Noticed that too, since the first post of the thread, each day passed by, the response is getting low to the community. It might have some negative effects into how will it become successful in the future. The platform is good but will be much better if a constant communication with the community. Let's just wait for the response of the team and hoping for the best outcome of it.
