Technology

Blockchain platform will be used for the issuance of Zkylos service units only. Utility tokens will be issued on the Ethereum blockchain (ERC 20 standard tokens). Technically, IDs and hashes will be put into attachments of 'service unit' to validate transactions in the database.

A ‘Utility token’ will be used for project support serving one’s appreciation of the project together with the variety of functions at the actual Zkylos platform.

ZKS ‘Utility token’ also has a variety of pre-programmed functions: it can be used as a form of settlement for goods and services at the platform along with traditional ways of payment.

Pet licenses are an amazing idea all around, ensuring only the best people who are actually interested in learning before getting a pet, gets one. Perhaps that is something that could be solved by governments through blockchain technology in the future as well...

The project at first sight might look similar to Siacoin, however it is different. The main difference is our obvious specialization in pet related activities: registration procedures at first place and data processing, along with its storage thereafter.

The whole idea behind Zkylos, is to make life of dog owners easier and their interactions with kennel less stresfull and more cost-effective. We do not issue our own coin. For the end user, nothing changes in regards of payments: we deliberately are not forcing anyone to buy our tokens in order to complete payments with them. That would rather be very inconvenient. On the contrary, the dog owner would still perform very same procedure, like logging into his member area, choosing whatever action he needs to perform and settles the amount due by his credit card. With the only difference that it is going to be a lot cheaper and the system we will provide will have extended functionality which every dog owner will appreciate. What dog owner does not see is the technical side of Zkylos which is hidden from regular users. The system is somewhat complicated, but in two words it looks like this: hashes and ID's of every transaction is kept in blockchain for transparency reasons most of all, since fund expenditure of national kennels lacks functionality big time.

Why do you think so? We got to know guys from Waves pretty close since we started working on the project and meet them multiple times while in Moscow. They are top level professionals.

Would you clarify please, why is Waves a bad choice in your understanding?

We are not conducting our ICO on Waves. Waves is ideal plaform for our needs at the moment due to several reasons. Since we will be processing very large amount of transactions where one token has to validate every single transaction, we decided to work with Waves:
1. No transaction costs
2. Token transfers within the system are also free
3. Emission almost free
4. Quite fast processing

Token we issue on Waves platform only plays role of service unit that validates the transaction.

In some developed countries it works exactly the way you described it. Whenever one state becomes ready to implement pet licenses, Zkylos will be there to help them do it  But even if they do not need to tax everyone, we are still here making life of every dog owner easier and nicer
