So I tried to use the new PhoenixMiner (5.2d) on HiveOS and included the -rxboost command and it's saying, "unable to set straps You have to run PhoenixMiner as administrator to set straps."

I'm embarrassed to ask this... but how do we run the software as administrator?
I stopped the miner, then entered "su" then ran the "miner start" command but it's still saying that I need to run as administrator.

Or maybe this is a PhoenixMiner (Linux) bug?

Thanks!

In hiveos in overclock section there is a tref parameter that you set to 20 or 30 that does the same or similar thing without using rx boost

Thanks, but for some reason I'm not seeing it. Probably because I'm using an old Beta version on all of my machines (some have 5700xt cards).
Do the non-beta versions support the 5700 cards yet?

I'm currently on 0.6-140@200519

UPDATE:
Went ahead and upgraded to 0.6-176@201121 without any issues but still can't do tref or amdmemtweak. I'm guessing the Navi cards aren't supported?

@dimafern

Using 0.6-157@200908, with 5600xt GPUs, phoenixminer 5.2c. When I change overclock settings, a random GPU freezes and the miner continues with it. I think the miner should be stopped before applying new overclock settings.

Do we have a new version for Navi GPUs?

Thanks

Using 0.6-157@200908
This is GPU client version. Please, pay attention to the name of the Linux kernel and the version number of the installed AMD driver.

Do we have a new version for Navi GPUs?
Stable Image based on Linux kernel 5.0.21 + AMD drivers 20.30
Different Betas - Beta2 (Linux kernel 5.0.21 + AMD drivers 19.30), Beta3 (Linux kernel 5.6 + AMD drivers 19.30)

Also, we have a new image but it's currently available only for closed testing

Kernel 5.6.0-200909-hiveos-beta, OpenCL 19.30, so it is Beta3

Do stable work with Navi GPUs?

Nope. Only the beta images as far as I can tell.
Latest one is hiveos-beta-0.6-157@200909
