2017 has indeed been a crazy year. I'd pretty much forgotten about it... well not forgotten about it but it had been on the backburner of my mind for quite some time as I was busy with other things, but it's been all over the news again recently and I can see why. It's both a very exciting and concerning time for bitcoin as many new users jump on board trying to make some cash I just hope it doesn't turn into a bubble and pop at some point after all the excitment has died down.

Bitcoin has a ceiling of 21 million, which is a fatal flaw. It also decided that it could not be used as a currency, as well as an excellent speculative tool.

That's not a flaw at all. That's one of its many many great features. The fact that there cannot be more than 21 million makes if deflationary and that's why it's better than fiat in theory. Because bitcoin is limited and finite it's what gives it its worth because it's fairly rare like gold, only much better as a currency than gold is.

Cars were considered as one of the dangerous invention when it was first invented.

Many used to think that internet is just for computer gigs and not for common people in past.

People used to only shop with paper cash and they used to worry about getting their bank account or credit card hacked and still many people from developing countries think like that.

Bitcoin is still in primitive stage like all of the above invention so people are just afraid of bitcoin or whole crypto thing, but sooner or later crypto will revolutionize the way we make financial transaction and how we send money across the globe.

I agree with you that bitcoin is still young and have a long way to go in the future. Right now, the world is changing at a fast pace and technology have a huge role on this. More things were developed for a faster and efficient ways we can imagine. And if we take a closer look almost everything in our present lives are now developed with the help of technology. We can consider cryptocurrency as one of those things and right now we are still somewhere on the denial stage and yet to come to the acceptance stage. Just like all those things you've mentioned, time will come for the cryptocurrency as a whole to be fully accepted by everyone.

By 2017 I felt the adoption of bitcoin from Japan to be a one that ignited the growth to happen in such a large level taking the price grow reach the peak value above $18000. You say no now, but in few years, or faster you will change your opinion like many people already did. You are just a j. member and you have a lot more to see and learn before you start to believe on bitcoins like some of us do.
2015 was good year, in 2016 many things happened, but in 2017 everything explode and I wonder can we see one more year like this year is, if some year in future can be so good like this one then bitcoin will be global digital gold and there is no doubt in that, just couple years to be good like this year is good. We who are here for years we see the difference, so many things changed I feel a bit shame because I doubted and underestimated bitcoin, I didn't believe all this can happen so fast, but look around its happening.

Bitcoin hasn't reached its climax yet, I think it is just starting to rise up and there is more for bitcoin to be. Bitcoin has already proven it self to the people because it has been strong for over the years and this year is indeed crazy because of how high the price went up. Bitcoin will continue to soar this upcoming year, so better hold on to your coins.
