I do not think holding Bitcoin is enough to hold one guilty of greed. To begin with, we must know that people invest in business to profit. If you are actually being smart, you might think holding it would be more profitable than withdrawing the same. Thinking and strategizing of ways on how to profit does not make one greedy. Perhaps, if you keep holding and you make ways to help the community or the less fortunate, it is not greed after all.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

If any body invest money for long time and want rewards against it that is called profit. And this is not a greedy and remuneration of investment because greedy is a part of investment and without investment it gives very less profit.

Everybody investing on something like gold silver USD...and crypto currency. So we can not call it as greedy.
Every investment has profit and risk. Almost all of us has crypto currency so we want our coins always up.
Maybe oneday their values will go down or up. All of us has risk and this is not greedy.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
I don't think its greedy if we hold bitcoins in our wallet for a long time. Holding bitcoins is just like saving our money for our future and then its up to the holder if he or she will sell his bitcoins for some reasons. Maybe if you hold your bitcoins with bad intention then maybe that's greedy itself.
Bitcon deserve to hold it for a long time. Bitcoin price is very near to reach to 10000$ that what we were not expecting so early. Still the investors are interested to invest money in bitcoin. I think now its look like that bitcoin price will cross 12000$ at the end of 2017, may be the price will take a little correction but very soon its price will continue increasing again.

The holding of bitcoin is not greedy, it is the way to generate income with bitcoin. it is also a type of invest , so that we invest our in the form of buying the bitcoins and hold them for a time to gain some profit if it because the value of the bitcoin is rising in the market and when the value go very high and we have needs  then we use it and get a benefit of bitcoin also in a result the holding is not  greedy.

It has nothing to do with greed. it is all about valuing the asset you hold and deciding when you have an opportune time to sell. This is not bitcoin specific but how you should operate for every asset class you hold. If you think something it undervalued then you hold it, if you think its overvalued you sell it. It is pretty simple and has nothing to do with greed.

Holding of Bitcoin may be the matter of pride, matter of intelligent investment but not the matter of greed. Greedy person may loose his whole worth.
Yes, holding Bitcoin is just a wise choice and move to earn money. It is not to show a selfish desire to Bitcoin, it is just practicality; because if you hold your Bitcoin and the price increases, you will save more money. It is like a thought for the future.

The author is absolutely right and it can be too late to sell your BTC, but as for me I'm sure that now not this time. Now is time to hold!

For me the answer is yes. If you are holding to much bitcoin or every people holding a large amount of bitcoin, the value or the rate of bitcoin is changing because of the supply and demand. It is reflecting to those people who are investing from bitcoin and it has an effect to the miners of bitcoin. I know what the others point on why their bitcoin is hold. They just wait for a right time to sell it if the value of bitcoin is up or rise so that their earn profit.

In my own opinion, you cannot consider holding a bitcoin as a greed because you are just holding it to gain more profit and to have a savings for your future purposes because not all the time you always have a money to use. You can consider it greed if  you are being selfish to yourself and to other people to spend your money all the time.

absolutely nope! you may call it being wise and smart rather than being greedy, bitcoin has the capability to change the financual system of this world holding it makes you one with the revolution. mass adoption will come to bitcoin and its price will massively still increased
Yes bitcoin is the one that introduced the new financial system to the world and beside a lot of challenges and hurdles created by various pressure groups like banking system, government policies and many speculators bitcoin is doing well till today. It is a prospective system that the world accepted slowly and gradually. It is not greedy at all to adopt a new system that offers you better choice to keep your money valuable and in your own approach all the time. The bitcoin transaction is just on the finger tips now. Transfer of money has become very much easy with the bitcoin technology.

Holding bitcoin is not a greediness behavior. We just want to earn and wait for a perfect time to sell it to gain a big profit because the bitcoin price now will continue to grow in the future.

and some people is a true fans in bitcoin ,
Yes it is not being greedy, it's about grabbing the opportunity and improve it. Most people like me here are just making sure that our job will be done well. I also agree that some people use bitcoin because they are true fans of it and they think that they should keep it because they know that they will be benefited.

they will keep bitcoin. but they can not hold long. There will be many events taking place, bitcoin may increase or decrease rapidly. If you are an investor and believe that bitcoin will rise to $ 20,000, you should not sell
