I've just noticed that there's is a 'Deposit' part in the wallet.
What is it meant for? Is it a POS-like feature?

Check out the specifics in this UltraNote blog entry. https://ultranote.org/blog/ultranotes-interest-rates/
Thank you. The explanation is clear.

Very welcome. Merry Christmas  Smiley

Yes, We are working on the issue. Just be patient and wait for difficulty to drop down

Following this coin as the community is great!  Grin

Agree.   Community has been great.

Nicehash might cause some short-term issues, but it could boost our overall hashrate long-term when others see that people are willing to throw money to mine this coin.  Generally I don't like Nicehash because the hash comes in spurts, but at least it has that fringe benefit.

Loll we all had things good for quite a while there when Nicehash went down for a while...  It's such a damn shame they have returned to gobble up everyone's mining profits all over again.  I do also agree with you though that people are obviously willing to throw money to mine XUN, the website looks really nice and wallet works very well, simple concept with a potential use case.. i like it

There is no nicehash traffic on the pools now.

You shouldn't stop mining, even if the difficulty is high and you are not finding blocks the pool will keep accepting your shares and this will be added to your reward when a new block found. If you stop then you will not have any shares from the reward.

As for now you may see the difficulty have got higher you will also notice that block reward have been going up so for some blocks the rewards were 1200-1400 coins per block. This way above the normal block rewards which is 150 coins.

Here comes the dynamic block reward as I told you before

I'm not clear then - why is block explorer showing no blocks found?

Here you can see the last blocks. Miners have found 200 blocks in last 24h I am not sure where are you looking at.

We have no port open for nicehash. Also we don't support it and always asks the pool owners to close it.
Some of the big miners still need to mine on a higher difficulty due to their rigs.

need block nicehash
