These hard forks will keep on coming and there will be few who will manage to take out maximum benefit out of these forks while there will be few who will lose their money during this. It all depends on yourself, like how you actually want the things to happen for you. You need to remain consistent in your work and you need to keep control over yourself so that you may make a better decision.

Having a fork, or whenever a fork is happening, bitcoin's price is always either going to pump or it will be dumping. As for me, it also don't have any effect for me, because I am holding my coins whatever happens, I'm trying to earn so that I can have my money grow bigger and in that case, I can sustain my needs.

I can agree with you, because holding bitcoin for now is one way to get more profit in the future. but for me, when something is coming in bitcoin (fork for a sample) I just watch its movement did sale when it  act to go low and for some reasons it is so down and lucky me I did buy when bitcoin is down, so I GOT more profit on it than just hold unto it

I haven't seen much info about Bitcoin Silver. I heard it was a joke, and after seeing the proposed spec, I tend to agree. It's basically just a clone of Bitcoin Gold. What's the point?

I guess that any news about Segwit2X hardfork is just the fake ones. Somebody want to sow a panic and uncertainty at the market. Just another manipulation to get newbies money.

Oddly enough, the BTC price rose into the Segwit2x fork date, then abruptly dropped hard after the Segwit2x cancellation. This is the opposite of what many were expecting--that price would fall due to Segwit2x uncertainty and rise when the uncertainty was gone.

But in general, these Bitcoin forks are definitely cash grabs to get newbies' money. "Bitcoin Diamond" is next, coming next month....

There will be some more BTC fork to reach the B2X status. The price of BTC is still rising. Investors tend to keep the BTC to receive Bitcoin gold, Bitcoin diamond.

It seems to me that the Chinese have already changed their minds about the crypto-currency. And now the Chinese government is loyal to the world of crypto-currency. This gives us stability and growth of the crypto currency

An s-9 cost 1600 with a psu at 10 cent power it  pays  back

so 1600 = 4000  and you still have the machine

2 % pool fee with no tx fees paid out

the rate of return on  btc is too high

terrible junk bonds are 6%

an s-9  is 150%  and you own the machine.

So in some way  it will come back to reality .

Hopefully  it does it via difficulty not price drop.

If diff does 8% next year  your 1600  gets you  2754  and you own the machine

If diff does 10% next year your 1600 gets you 2197 and you own the machine  and an s-9 stops making money at 300 days.

any of the above  are  better then junk bonds by far.

Be interesting to see how the market adjusts to this spike in profits.

Ok, its not bad to innovate and get some new Altcoins to compete for Bitcoin. But as we all know, what would be the effect of a fork? It will gradually affect market price not just Bitcoin but the Altcoins as well. Right now, many people are still considering Bitcoin as 'bubble' because of its sudden dump, but a few days later its back at $10k ~ $10.5k. So what's the sense of making another Altcoin, I bet there's only one company who's making this troll coins.

I'm just going to say, 'meh' this fork is not worth it. Although I can't blame them, if they don't want to just improve a much more closer coin.

Is this true? I mean where did you get the information from? But if ever there is another fork coming in December, all I can say is good luck with all the altcoins. I guess nobody will be celebrating their Christmas or Hannukah happy if ever another fork is coming.
