Activity & new membergroup limits

I thought that to increase your activity you have to post in different threads, now I know why my activity hasn't increased. But still, thank you for your information I wish you could explain more because I wasn't able to grasp your formula.

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

i don't quite understand what time is in terms of 2 week periods. Just to clarify, if i joined on jan 1 and it is feb 1 today, does that mean time=2?

Hey the activity increases by +14 biweekly in Tuesday
Here is the spreadsheet where you can find the dates of the change of the activity,  it was mentioned in a previous post here

I finally made Hero Member although there are so many Legendary Members around now that even a Hero account seems pretty lowly

Yes, heroes aren't what they used to be. 

Don't worry, in another 2 years you'll make legendary - just in time for that to be totally out of style.

Then I found this awesome thread. If you need to search from a longtime buried post from this forum. I suggest not to use the default search box from this forum. Instead use Google it is fast and doesnt limit you from repetitive searching.

haha exactly after a few years while the status will change again and legendary will just mean kind of an old and active member.

It could be written a number next to your username, 1 for the most active/senior member then 2, 3 ect.

Post once a day, if you have something to contribute. Making a thread is no different from a regular post.

It was put in place to stop Newbies from spamming the boards with pornography and other such content. While it isn't the best, it works for what it was put in place to do.
Continue to be active on the forum and once you reach the activity requirement your embedded images will automatically show.

The system works great. You can accumulate 14 activity in a 2 week period. One per day. This prevents alt-account creators from making hero accounts in a week or two and also keeps the spam down. As for the image posting it works well and the limit is in place because of spam as well.

Just continue posting quality and constructive post.  You need to reach the rank that is able to have that feauter. And ranking up doesn't rely on tge number of post but the number of activity you got.

You have potential activity, so every post you make will immediately* update to your activity. Once you use up all of your potential activity, you can only get 14 more every two weeks.

*Not completely instantly, but within a few minutes.
