I do not pretend that my opinion is absolutely correct. But then, I read an article that researchers from world universities did their research on the total anonymity of Monero. So the result was not in favor of complete anonymity.
I can be wrong in accuracy, but this article is easy to find on the Internet and read about it.

Well the thing is that Monero is 5 years old. And It have protocol upgrades that some love to call forks every half year. At that times in past mainly in 2016 were added some anonymity features.   You could theoretically trace transactions in 2014 and 2015.  I am saying theoretically because that is pure math. None transaction was ever traced.  And compared to any other crypto coin Monero was least ( mathematically traced) in 2014 and 2015. None was ever better.

I would also like to mention that what that paper researched was already written in Monero research papers in 2014. It was nothing new and it was already implemented in the protocol at time of publish. Also another thing is worth to mention that author of that paper is a ZCash developer and fro sure invested in Electonic company that owns 20% of ZCash emission.

My vote goes to Monero, but I'm really liking ZenCash.

ZenCash has a low supply and was recently hyped up on the Palm Beach Confidential newsletter and is a full blown privacy platform. Monero seems to me like a very strong currency with excellent standards for privacy, and a relatively low supply. I can see both of these coins in the $1000+ price.

In my opinion, XMR and ZCASH are 2 coins that dominate the segment for the best private currency. Although there are still many obstacles and conflicts of potential gains and improvements in the future. But you can see that XMR is making rapid progress on its rankings on CMC. It is not a random process. Except, the problems with Ledger vulnerabilities and leaks from the exchanges were fixed. XMR will be a more advanced coin in the future.

For me i will go with monero and dash thosetwo project have wonderfull technology backing their product.  Sero is another privacy coin with good prospects as it is built on zero knowledge technology.  I really love their concept

For me, the best private coin is ARRR. The project is actively developing and has been repeatedly noted by such giants as Monero and Zcash.

Have you ever heard of ARMR? They are working for a long time on it and been very communicativ in ther telegramm. It was distributed through an airfork of an abondend coin and has hit the first exchange now.

A POS Coin with low supply, stealth transactions, TOR, etc... they are currently working on stage 2 which includes stealth staking, a new sort of masternode (Blacksmithing) and much other cool stuff.

With its low MC its definitly a high risk high reward thing, but it could explode with the right marketing and adoption. As i said the devs and the team are very active and always discuss new ideas with the community.
